Katherine Centric Episode aka the Big 100th Episode

“The 100th episode, we’re really going to have an opportunity to understand Katherine in a  new light. It’s a really great look at this character,” Candice told TV Fanatic, detailing the ways in which Katherine is “the root” of the entire TVD narrative:

“The only reason Stefan stopped in Mystic Falls was because he thought he saw Katherine.”

“The only reason Damon returned to Mystic Falls was because he was looking for Katherine.”

“The only reason Caroline’s a vampire is because of Katherine.”

“The only reason Damon and Stefan ever became vampires was because of Katherine.”

Well summarized, Candice! We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Does this mean that we will be getting a retrospective through Katherine’s 500-year life? It certainly seems a good way to tie all of these dead and gone characters back into the narrative, and we know that there will be a 19th century flashback during the ep. We’d definitely watch an entire episode watching Katherine traipse through the centuries in fancy dresses and with cunning plots. Though she has been a presence since Season 1, she has always been a character operating on the periphery. She rarely has had a chance to tell her story; it has always been filtered through the lens of our “heroes.” We would like to hear her story from her perspective.

However, the thought of an important, Katherine-centric episode has us seriously worried for her life. Right now, things are looking grim for our aggressively aging human — even when she’s not jumping off of clock towers. Could this episode be the last for Katherine?

For the first time in a long time, Ellie felt a considerable weight lifted off her shoulders. There was no need to worry about Katherine any more. She was human - she couldn’t do anything to Ellie, and even if she tried Ellie would be more than happy to compel the bitch to walk in the opposite direction until her feet started bleeding.

However, it came as an utter shock to Ellie when she saw the woman she loathed so much, standing inside of her house without a care in the world. Her green eyes quickly fuelled with anger, and Ellie used her vampire speed and strength to pin Katherine on the opposite side of the wall.

"Are you naturally stupid or did that cure give you brain damage, Katherine?” Ellie spat, her tone threatening, “What on earth makes you think that I would even consider protecting your little human ass?”

She knew that there always this possibilities that even the youngest Salvatore wouldn't agree to help her, because if she were her she would never help Katherine the manipulative bitch, but she is the Katherine and Katherine would never stop until her goal is reached.

"think about it, Ellie. You would not be a vampire if it wasn't for ? who was it again? oh yeah me. That means if it wasn't for me you wouldn't be here today. That's one thing you shall be thankful for, also that's why you should do me a favor"

The thing is she is really not capable of the human thing, she always try to keep calm and collected but being human definitely affects that. Now she has to try harder to achieve her goals, and just like always her ultimate goal is to survive
