today’s isopod is Porcellionides pruinosus, also known as the powder blue isopod for the waxy coat of the normal gray color form. a very fast, hardy, and prolific species.

I have most of the color morphs of this species; these are wildtype, “Pierrot Orange,” “Oreo Crumbles,” “Blush,” “Whiteout,” and the last one is some silly marbled thing that appeared at random in a “Blush” breeding project.

I like how their little feet stick out when they lie down.

if the little marbled mysteries are actually fathered by Mr. Pink there, then I might end up with a genetic mush of cute pink and white marbled critters. wouldn’t be the worst outcome
