I made a post forever ago about why Solas hates the Grey Wardens, and because Tumblr is not letting me search my own blog, I can’t seem to find it. However, in lieu of the recen announcement, I have some major Feelings that I need to say before I can even try to sleep.
Before, I said that Solas resented the Wardens because he sees his own mistakes repeated in them. There are SO many parallels: the secrets, the mistakes, the taking of drastic measures to save a world that thinks you’re a monster. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. However, now, with the teaser, I am beginning to wonder if it is more than just a parallel. What if Solas actually is a Grey Warden. The OG Grey Warden.
You may say “Allison, that’s insane. You’re crazy!” But I say, take a seat my friends and hear me out and follow me beneath the cut.
“Your art isn’t valued by the number of notes you get” okay but. If you spent 6 hours baking a cake for a party, but no one at the party eats your cake, it’s still disappointing.
