So you're telling me that in order for Israel to get 4 hostages they had to kill 3 other hostages in the same operation?
Do you need any more evidence that this has literally nothing to do with the hostages and everything to do with a sick political stunt by Netanyahu?
They can continue to pretend this was a "success" but we all know well that all of the hostages would have been freed in October of last year had they agreed to engage in diplomatic negotiations, but Israel refused every offer, as long ago as October 9, because they saw and used the living hostages as a justification for genocide and the dead ones as capital to further justify the annihilation of the Palestinian people. 35 displaced Palestinians killed in makeshift tents. This is where we're at. This is Israel.
This was posted yesterday (May 27) and the updated number is 45 Palestinians killed in their tents. Hours after this massacre, Israeli prime minister said it was a "tragic mishap" and that they were going to investigate it.
Yet, as of a few hours ago today (May 28), Israel had struck yet another displacement camp in Rafah, killing over 21 displaced Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, the same exact way it did just a little over 24 hours prior.
Israel is demented. Save your calls for ceasefire because they're useless at this point. Call for sanctions, arms embargo, cutting diplomatic/economic ties, fight normalisation, boycotts and divestments- the lifeline of this genocide needs to be severed immediately. Israel has gotten away with way too many crimes for us just to be asking for the "fighting" to stop, when we are at this stage of genocide.
