Ok but the scene “I’ve seen hell” is peak cinema. Margaret derailing on how Millton is such a depressing place while the strings rise? Then she says “I’ve seen hell. And it’s white, snow white.” and the camera cuts to white cotten drifting about in the factory like snow? And Thornton walks across the frame, who is her detailing torment and part of the reason why she hates Millton, but later becomes the reason why she goes back?? We love poetic cinema
