So I've gotten obsessed with weaving these little paper foraging balls. They're basically a crooked 4 way braid with a treat in the middle. Millie's gonna have to do a lot of chewing to get through all of these! . . . posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2DPD2FD

Alice in wonderland mini diorama-I forgot to put a quarter for scale but this is about 1.5 inches tall. I actually made this last summer but I couldn't get a good picture of it until I got a good camera; it's too small for my phone camera to focus on! . . . posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2Um8fXE

Second part of the collab I did with @intothedarknessigo (on tumblr). I did the line work and I love how creepy she made the coloring! . . . posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2TbLPbt
Art collab with my best friend @intothedarknessigo. She did the line art and I did the coloring. Second piece where I did the lines and she colored coming soon! . . . posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2CEgBCL

Finished Parson's Challenge piece as a companion piece to my rose gas mask
Hey is that painting Millie did for sale
Not at the moment! I might do a giveaway with it eventually tho!
Washington wildfires might make me need a mask, but that doesn’t mean I can't look good while wearing it
I've been watching a lot of cartoons from my childhood (#kimpossible #invaderzim etc.) and decided to draw myself and my friends in that early 2000s cartoon style . . . — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2MtsJLE
Face paint designs I did for a community picnic. One lady asked me for my card because she wanted to hire me for a birthday party which was cool. I don’t know if I’m good enough to actually be paid to do this but she apparently thought so
hobbies:
1) finding increasingly ridiculous ways to describe my major
2) drawing aforementioned ways
I've never put so much effort into a dumb pun. I'm both extremely proud of it and extremely disappointed in myself.
Art Progress Through OCs
Something I do, and something I recommend every artist do, is have a thing that you can draw over and over again. For me, that thing is a pair of alien ocs, Grell and Rory, that I created 3 years ago in my notebook when I really should have been paying attention to my calculus instructor.
It can be real easy to get down on your art, especially when artistic progress is often slow and unsteady, so I find it beneficial to redraw this oc pair every once in a while because it gives a really good apples to apples comparison of how my art is improving.
For example:
Grell and Rory in 2015 (watercolor pencil and ink):
And then again in 2018 (digital art):
I have a neglected deviant art that shows all the other iterations of them if anyone is interested. I personally love to see people’s artistic progress, so if anyone has cool then/now art they want to show I would love to see it!
