oo i came across your ares x goddess of peace reader and i love that idea!! personally very fond of the one-sided enemies to lovers

- ares who tries his best to get a reaction out of the reader, but it never works and she’s just amused by how hard he’s trying

- he’s furious that she’s always so calm and composed (not that it isn’t difficult for her to stay that way)

- ares who’s surprised by reader’s knowledge and interest in wars he started (she witnessed them all, to be fair. probably had to jump in and clean up after him a few times)

- reader who understands the need for balance, maybe even thinks that conflict can be necessary to achieve peace and ares is like?? oh?? so she thinks what i do is important?? interesting… let me do it again.

- reader who’s always like “we need to stop meeting like this” when ares is causing trouble (he definitely started a few fights just because he knew she’d have to show up and intervene at some point. starting wars is just his preferred method of flirting)

omg yes to all of these!!

i love the idea that ares just stirs the pot when he wants to see reader and she’s just like “really?? again??” but secretly likes seeing him too even if it means she has a few more fires to stamp out
