hello, welcome to my nuz blog! This is my first attempt at a nuzlocke comic so please be kind and patient ;v; last update: (Page 2- 3/12/23) currently starting page 3!

uhh. ~happy one year anniversary~???

so! I swear I’m not abandoning my nuzlocke after my first page lol. I just happened to get a full-time job leaving me with no time or energy to draw?? whoops??

The second page is roughly ~50-60% complete, and I was hoping I’d have it done uhh. a long time ago lol. But! I’m also dealing with WAY less time/energy than I had last year, plus my super old tablet is on the fritz so I may have to start looking for a new one before I can fully get back into drawing.

(I get that slow updates are fairly typical to nuzlocke artists! and I’m not trying to stress or guilt myself over every free minute spent not drawing, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t hard aha. I just gotta reassure myself and not give up hope, that’s all!)

just letting anyone and everyone know that I’m not giving up on it! Ngl I don’t even have a general timeframe for when I think the next page could be out, but no way am I giving up on this project!! I’ll be back sometime, I promise!

so, burn away is officially 5 years old today

its surreal to think about how much of my life i’ve now spent making this comic and being involved in nuzlockes… half a decade, man ;;__;; there’ve been so many ups and downs and i’m definitely a lot different from the girl who sat down in 2016 to try drawing a comic, but… im just really glad i started this and stuck with it. thank you so so so much to everyone of you who reads, comments, sends messages, makes fanart, or just hangs out with me!! its truly been a wonderful and overwhelming experience. <3

anyway, burn away has been long overdue for a new cover, so i finally made one to celebrate!

a very quick post to have something on this blog- ill probably write a bit more of an official intro post for this month’s page, but!

simple. is about being a kid on a journey with your magical animal friends, and maybe also a lot of other things. its also a normal-type monolocke run, which means only the first normal type can be caught on each route.

you can read simple. here on the nuzforums, or on deviantart! i’ll be posting sketches/bonus stuff here, along with answering any questions for the characters or about the comic as a whole.

So Smackjeeves bit the dust on me and I could no longer get into my account (and apparently it’s just gone to crap anyways) so I spent some time this weekend re-uploading all of my comics to Comicfury!

Hello! I’ll be starting a new Blue nuzlocke comic, and first chapter will be posted this September 12th! This is equally me trying to hype up people for this neat new project I’m excited about and also me trying to keep myself accountable bc I’m terrified of starting and sharing this neat new project ahaha :’D
