Are tongue web piercings worth it? My piercer told me that it will most likely only last for a few months because of migration. Anyone have experience with this kind of piercing beyond the initial healing period?

I got my nipples pierced yesterday, and the piercer put horshoes in that are extremely heavy and I don't think I can keep them in. I bought some barbells but I think they might be too short and I'm scared to swap them out

Please don’t try and change them yourself! Honestly, you’re piercer shouldn’t have started you with anything but barbells. If you’re not comfortable with the jewelry, absolutely go back to your piercer and have them change it. I would even recommend looking around for a different piercer to check out, because your original one made a pretty bad choice starting you out with horse shoes, in my opinion. If you ever feel unsure or uncomfortable with anything about your piercing definitely go back to your piercer and talk to them about it. They will take care of you.
