he’s sierra’s oldest child and only son.

his mother often refers to him as her ‘pride and joy’ and he’s perfectly fine with that.

the fact that his mother was only seventeen when he was born means that maddox and his mother are super close. he would even go as far as to say that his mother is his best friend.

maddox doesn’t remember much of his birth father, given that he died when maddox was just three years old.

for eleven years, it was just maddox and his mother -- until she reconnected with and began to date wesley cordeaux.

having little to no memories of his actual father, maddox found himself growing quickly attached to wesley as time went on.

lucky for him, wesley proved to be growing just as attached to the teenager, and eventually adopted maddox as his own when he was fifteen.

maddox has yet to trigger his werewolf curse, which is something he and his parents are both grateful for -- though it does mean he is prone to uncontrollable fits of rage.

from the moment that she moved to new orleans, maddox found himself intrigued by josie saltzman. after a handful of coffee dates and countless nights spent doing some late night talking, it’s no wonder the two started dating.

       ❝ really? because it looks pretty self explanatory to me. ❞ maddox told his cousin’s fiancé with a chuckle, amusement clearly washing over his features in response to what he had just witnessed. austin had given maddox a handful of reasons to like him in the time that he’d been with aria, but this was a moment that definitely needed to be added to the list. when asked how long he’d been standing there, another chuckle fell from the wolf’s lips. ❝ long enough that i could have taken a viral video. ❞ // @vitriolicvisions​

       the moment that the words had left maddox’s lips, he began to wonder if he would come to regret them, but the response that came from his girlfriend slowly began to push away that concern. ❝ oh? ❞ he questioned softly. when she reached for his hand, maddox wasted no time in lacing his fingers with josie’s. ❝ i would really like to stay. if you’re sure that you’re okay with that. ❞ // @sacrificialsiphon​

maddox happened to look up from the ground just in time to see his girlfriend practically sprinting in his direction. the moment that josie's frame collided with his own, maddox wrapped his arms tightly around his girlfriend's waist and held her body close to his own. he hadn't even had time to ask her if she was alright before his lips had been captured by hers.

it was far from the first time that the couple had kissed, but there was something about it that was so different from kisses they'd shared before. maddox wasted no time in matching his girlfriend's energy and found himself captivated by the kiss for what felt like ages. when he had no other option but to pull away and catch his breath, the wolf rested his forehead against josie's and spoke softly. ❝ not that i'm complaining, because i definitely am not -- but what was that for? ❞ // @sacrificialsiphon

maddox hadn't meant to stare, but the second that josie had walked out of the bathroom wearing a nightgown that he'd never seen before, the male had been unable to tear his eyes from his girlfriend. it wasn't until josie cleared her throat that maddox even realized that his mind had began to wander.

❝ huh? ❞ he called out in response as he was forced back into reality. ❝ i -- sorry. ❞ the wolf mumbled, nervously running a hand through his hair as he tried to push his previous thoughts from his mind. ❝ that uh -- that's new. ❞ he spoke softly, motioning towards her nightgown. // @sacrificialsiphon
