all you doomed by the narrative bitches haven’t even seen om shanti om… no respect for shantipriya, the original bestie doomed by the narrative…
watching om shanti om isn't enough i need to get my dupatta stuck in my soulmate's watch
the thing that drives me absolutely batshit insane about om shanti om is how om loves shanti without expecting Literally Anything in return. usually stories reward men for their attraction, & the woman is the prize at the end - when om falls in love with shanti, his heart gets broken when he learns she’s pregnant, & he dies to save her as a friend. he dedicates his next life to her memory, making sure she’s remembered as she deserves to be. om loses everything because he loves shanti!! & the only reward he gets is the knowledge that she gets the justice she deserves & she’s able to move on..at the end of the story he’s the same, only changed for having loved her, only happy that she’s happy, only treasuring the time they had together the way she does.....he loves her for free, and love doesn’t change or go away even after death or distance
This was his hamlet moment
So I guess that three of the best movies of all time were made in India and they are 3 Idiots, Jab We Met, and Om Shanti Om. I don't make the rules, sorry.
imagine doing ur business peacefully and then suddenly ur cornered by these two like "please be in our movie 🙃🙃🙃🔪🔪🔪"

literally
What is the funniest sequence in the history of indian cinema and why is it the award ceremony scene in om shanti om
The girls who loved om shanti om and jab we met as children are the it girls of our society today
OM SHANTI OM (2007)

I never understood the notion that the middle child acts out to get attention. That wasn’t a trait I had growing up. And then I realized it’s because I may be the middle child but I’m also the oldest daughter. So I took on the responsibilities my older brother didn’t have time for and never got my rebellious phase.
probably every middle child’s #1 problem: being gaslighted by your whole family
The aesthetics I want: Art hoe, cottagecore, cryptidcore
The music taste I have: you emo son of a-
The aesthetic I have: If a middle child was overworked and went through their nightcore phase at 9 and 10 and was on wattpad at a really young age and one day just stopped doing those things and instead is watching glee as a coping mechanism and also has raging mommy AND daddy issues even with 2 moms and 2 dads.
AND THATS ON DIVORCED PARENTS
