CRITERIA FOR PRE FINAL 8-12-2014:
1. A redefined PROBLEM STATEMENT pertaining to the Mumbai city problem that you are either solving or making worse.
2. Articulated DESIGN INTENT i.e what you intend to do (e. g ” I intend to shame the eve teaser” ). If your design intent is specific to a CONTEXT/ SITE ( pavement, skywalk, train compartment etc.) please mention it within your design intent statement.
3. Concept sketches of the object including one “action sketch”( your hero or villain using it), one detailed drawing of your object with material specifications.
4. 2 work in progress PROTOTYPES ( can be of smaller scale) to show the development of your object from idea to actual.
5. A full scale WORKING MODEL in intended materials
6 Five A4 PRINTOUTS of PHOTOS( minimum) that document your work process/ design development/ prototyping

Paper Crafting
With an ultimate aim of creating three dimensional, textural textiles, l experimented with fabric manipulation techniques. However before applying any ideas straight to fabric, I began by playing with paper and card to generate methods that can be applied to materials later to create these sculptural textile forms.
