Interesting tidbits on the ‘Alpha Tauri’ team going forward from this article xx
Red Bull has refused an offer for sale of close to a billion dollars for the team.
The newly-restructured board has also decided to limit the influence that both Christian Horner and Helmut Marko can exercise on both the technical and sporting side of the team (rip King of England shit Christian tried to pull. You were brighter and sexier than the whole sky) with the aim of attracting more investment into the team
The 2024 car will have the front pull-rod suspension of the RB19. The car will have a slightly lower front center of gravity and a more “cledge” shape in the lower front section. The aerodynamics in the front part will therefore, inevitably, have a 'more Red Bull' philosophy (think a more pointy car, think Baku 2017 triple overtake possibilities)
The most fucking annoying thing about all the "conflict of interest" gate is it's going to be F1 Academy and Susie that suffer as a result of it.
They're not going to lobby for Toto to move on and dissociate from Mercedes, they'll want Susie fired, so F1 Academy will lose the person spearheading it, despite her clearly being the best qualified person for the role right now. Just as the series is finally going to get an opportunity to take off, it will lose its rudder and get derailed before its begun.
And even if they DON'T find anything of note, it's Susie's reputation that will end up being tarnished, because its always women that bear the brunt of these things, despite F1 and 'conflict of interest' going hand in hand since records began.
And all this for a tabloid magazine article by someone who not only is banned from the paddock, but has been on the receiving end of numerous libel cases from people inside the paddock.
The FIA are trying to appear like they're being 'fair and thorough and authoritative' but they're not, they're just legitimising the accusations when it's not really their issue to investigate. It's shameful politicking and it's yet another example of the FIAs internalised misogyny. Where was their investigation into the allegations about Mohammed Ben Sulayem? Or is it only when it suits them?

IN. THE . SLOWEST. CAR
How’s your morning? Been fighting on f1twt with Oscar stans who think we’re Lando fans 😳 didn’t have this on my bingo card.
this is gonna be my thirteenth reason
Near the top 10? He was in the top 5 pace-wise. In a year where points are the least of Daniel's worries, let's get the bad luck out of the way now. Show them, Daniel!
Daniel was third fastest (after NOR and VER) in sectors 1&2. Truly a case of what could have been, should have been
i keep forgetting he still hasn't had many practices in the car... still sucks he messed it up. my heart got ahead of my head after mexico for sure
I mean I’m gonna be real here. It wasn’t the car. He had a shit practice session with a broken floor then he had one run on medium and got a decent time, he was back on. Didn’t do one run on soft in practice and yet showed up in Q1, put the car in p5 and decided he could wait and do two runs instead of three. He sounded SO confident. Pierre kept checking with him “just checking you’re still ok with only one other run?” “Yeah.”“Yuki will be doing three, still ok with two?” “Yep.” He was soooo sure of himself, he wanted to save his softs tyres for the next sessions. I was shaking. Then he went out at the front to avoid the risk of yellow flags, he was in control, everything aligned AND HE ALMOST SPUN. Saved it but fucked his lap. That’s what he said, Pierre said “sorry Daniel that wasn’t enough” and he said “yeah I fucked it”. I can’t be mad at anything but him it’s so sad. Anyway the WORST PART is that he had a decent car in his hand and he just fucked it and I’m picturing what could have been, especially with the early red flag in Q3. But anyway, its life, we go again tomorrow in the shoutout where im confident he’ll do well (except if the weather conditions are different). He trusts the car, he might have good pace. But fuck. Anyway. I’m turning into Max Verstappen and hating on Sprint weekends now.
Resources and action items to call for an end to the violence in Gaza.
I haven’t seen this linked on here so: this is an awesome resource for how you can help the people in Palestine. It has donation links, helps you figure out how to contact your representatives, and a regularly updated list of planned protests. It is USAmerican centric but the list of protests is international.
If you are American this site has a tool that sends an email for you. All you need to enter is your name, email address, and street address so they can auto-find your senators. It will take 30 seconds.

he’s cooking
What is MAD about this is that I identified that he was super weak in low speed corners last weekend with very simple data analysis (didn't include it in videos because nobody actually cares about that level of depth). Imagine the work he and the team have done in recognising this, working out a solution and actually doing it!
You’re so right. Think pieces and long ass posts on tumblr are really the worst form of commentary. If you really cared about the issue at hand you wouldn’t be speaking about it on here to your little echo chamber, those posts only feel like they stem from a need to be seen as morally superior or they’re just argumentative for the sake of being argumentative
I agree. I mean I totally think you can still care about this issue but decide not to do anything about it, but if you’re going to get on your high horses and make statements, please at least copy paste them into youtube comments.
The video on youtube has 531k views, 25k likes and 704 overly positive comments. The one negative comment about Daniel was that he was laughing too much instead of joining in on the jokes. This is the feedback that these men hear, not ours.
If we want Blake/CAA to stop sending him on these, then say it there. Make it uncomfortable/impossible for Barstool to profit off Daniel’s fanbase because Daniel is absolutely profiting off Barstool’s audience of dumb men.
Imagine if we become a loud enough majority in sport fandom than more and more athletes come with loads of female fans who then make it impossible for these podcasts to keep punching down on women, then they’re the ones who will have to adapt. It’s an utopia maybe but that’s how you drive change.
according to this, daniel had fastest sector 1 time in the sprint

i know THATS right
i need to go to bed, brain dead, but p sure it was his sector 2 that was fast in sprint quali, so he's improving on allll sectors if he's got the fastest sector 1 in that alpha tauri
let him COOK
I'm mid- analysis and yes, Daniel was GOOD. His fastest lap put him P10 which is just ridiculously good considering some midfield teams are having a good weekend.
