rowxnas·:
there were few perks that came with being five foot nothing, but sitting comfortably in a pub booth was definitely high up on the list. sitting criss-crossed on the over-stuffed bench, she munched through the remnants of her lunch. looking up from her journal, she was pleasantly surprised to find another pair of eyes on her. giving the brunette a playful wink, rowena went back to flushing out the previous nightâs dream as best as she could from memory. as she switched from the sparkly purple gel pen to the pink one, the woman in question had already crossed the length of the shop with conviction.       âno, no, well sort of,â her tone was still sing-songy in tone, despite the fact that her grin faltered. âmy name is rowena,â she corrected gently, âbut i did take 302 last year. whatâs yours, petal? and i do hope youâre the virgo iâm supposedly waiting for because it was very startling for someone in a dream to look me dead in the face and say, youâre waiting for a virgin.âÂ
madeline flushes a light pink at the correction, embarrassed that she had made such a silly little mistake right at their introduction. â my apologies, i mustâve been far too busy day dreaming in that class. â she smiled, stealing another chip.â iâm madeline. â it was odd for her to give her full name, so use to just telling people to call them mads or maddie, but something in her gut was telling her that rowena deserved to know it in its entirety.    â well i am a virgo, actually. and a virgin, of sorts. â madeline replies, still flushed at how charming the other girl was. â are you the one my mum always told me about- â theyâve got beautiful brown eyes, madelineâ. â she mimicked her motherâs light southern accent from before she passed.Â
