A little watercolor practice, using nail "latex tape" as masking fluid. My opinion? Stick to traditional masking fluid. Easy on, did not want to come off. Some bits of paper are still shiny because I gave up on it.

Another katazome shibori, I mixed it up by combining two dyes (green&light blue) and its fascinating to see how even when mixed at a liquid level, the two colors strike at different levels. I applied rice paste with a stencil (and sometimes unintentionally from the bottom of the stencil lol) and it looks like the thickness varied throughout. Imma call this one "seaweed"
