I'm most proud...

I am proud that I don't give up on my writing or life. When it comes to putting knowledge onto paper it dose take an effort but I'm proud of growing in my work and thinking of ways to apply and connect my classroom knowledge to my internships and career.

Not giving up despite difficult circumstances is definitely something to be proud of!!

what do you like most about your learning?

What I like the most about my personal learning is that I learned skills that directly apply to my degree and my future job. I learned all about content and how to create the best content for the web. I explored YouTube and collected data on something I was passionate about.

It’s cool that you were able to use this class to help you learn skill for your future job!

Where I will adjust my essay to strengthen my point:

As of now I haven’t added any examples or quotes from the course textbook. I plan to add some for each point in order to strengthen my points.

What I am most proud of with my writing process:

The part of my writing process that I’m most proud of is the outline that I make for myself so that I’m able to stay organized and make sure that I don’t forget any key components of my paper.

What is Content?

In the digital age, with the rise of the internet and social media, the term "content" is often associated with information and media shared online. However, content can be anything you want it to be! Content is created for various reasons, including entertainment, education, information, and promotion, and it plays a crucial role in many aspects of modern communication and business. In a general sense, content often relates to information, material, or substance that is created and presented for an audience.

I agree that content can be anything, there are many ways to define and explain it!

When I think of communication, I think of the ability to convey messages and exchange thoughts. Understanding communication is the ability to comprehend a message and be able to make meaning of what was said and allows for you to understand yourself and others.

This is a great way to define communication!

How writing demonstrates critical thinking and creativity:

There are many ways that writing demonstrates critical thinking and creativity. Writing is able to demonstrate critical thinking by showing the writer’s thoughts and hard work. For example when reading a peer’s essay, you are able to not only see their knowledge on the topic, but also understand it more in depth because of their details and supporting points. Writing is also able to demonstrate creativity because there are many different ways to reach a writing goal. Writing doesn’t have to be a specific format with the same layout for each person. It can be specifically written to fit the style of the person who’s writing it. For example, in this class we have many writing assignments that aren’t traditional essays in a word document. We have the freedom to use any site that we want to which results in a lot of unique and creative projects.

My writing process:

I’m going to begin my writing process by creating an outline of my essay based off the rubric. After I have an idea of where I want each paragraph and what I want those paragraphs to be, I’ll start adding bullet points under each to get an idea of what is going to be in each paragraph. Once I have a detailed outline, I will put together my rough draft then submit that for feedback to make sure I’m on the right track. Once I get feedback I’ll fix it until I feel that it’s complete and ready to be submitted.

How I understand collaboration:

I would define collaboration as two or more people coming together to combine their work/ideas. For example, if I had a solid first half of a project while another student had a solid second half, we could come together and help each other until we both have solid projects.

How I understand communication:

Personally, I would define communication as any form of interacting with others in order to reach a goal. For example, communicating with your peers by asking for feedback on a project so you can fix it if need be.

Feedback #3: H2WG Cover Page

Everyone knows the "So You Think You Can Dance".... title. I wanted to play with that, and thought it might be cool to leave it, but change it.... so I did the drawn in "X" and replaced Dance with CREATE and then WRITE?

I feel like it works... but I also don't want it to seem stupid... and part of me thinks it still looks like a draft, and I should replace it and just call it what it is. What do you think? Do I leave it as it is now? Or get rid of Dance and Create?

I personally like the creativity of your title, I would leave it how it is!

How to Write Guide Feedback

In my feedback from Dr. P, I was told to add an introduction to content strategy. I have since added this in to the beginning of my how to write guide. Because I have four tips with information, I don't have much room on my page, so I wanted to keep the information brief and to the point. Do you think this information does what it is intended for, or should I try to add more?

I feel that this is a great introduction! Just incase you didn’t already notice, specifically is missing the f in your last sentence!

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to improve this part of my How to Write Guide? I feel like it’s vague but I’m not sure what to add to it to make it better.

For everyone who’s familiar with TikTok and how to use it, what else could I add to this to make it better? Or should I take anything away? I was trying to give a short overview of TikTok in the beginning as sort of an introduction so let me know what can be changed!

How content creation went for me:

Content creation went smoothly because I’m familiar with the space and have created content in the space previously. This will help me with my tips and tricks because I can provide information that other’s may not be familiar with.

A tip in my guide that is useful:

My main tip in my guide is to find unique content that you enjoy creating so that it’s easy to post often without getting tired of it.
