My Essay Writing Process

What I am most proud of with my writing process is how I was able to start this project very early. Knowing my exam schedule, I started working on my essay a few weeks ago and it really paid off. I added information little by little when I had time which really helped me build up my points. I was also able to go back to previous things I wrote and fixed them.

I agree. I started this essay right as it was assigned and finished it within the next day. I think it was easy for me to write because we had to discuss our own knowledge and experience with learning content in this class.

What do I like the most about my essay?

I think my essay encompasses a lot of what I've learned throughout the entire semester. Rereading my reflection letters for each project also helped me remember key details I learned during each project, as well as how well it connects to my future career!

I also like that my essay includes a lot of what we learned this semester. My essay allowed me to reflect on the content from this class, and show what, and how much I have learned from this class.

I like that my essay includes a lot of what I learned throughout the semester. Looking back on my notes and Tumblr posts allowed me to reflect on what I learned and create an essay that shows my growth and knowledge about the content I learned in class. I also think a lot of the information from this class will help me with future careers.

what I'm most proud of with my writing process

For me personally, I think I am most proud of learning how to write for a specific audience. I feel like I was always a good writer but I think learning how to figure out who my audience is and be able to write specifically for them is something that I improved on in this class. I am also proud of my ability to accept feedback from peers and be able to revise my writing as needed. Revising your work is a big part of writing and I am proud of my growth in that aspect.

What is creativity?

Creativity is when you use your imagination in order to come up with new ideas, especially in regards to writing, art, or content creation. So creativity could be writing up a story that doesn't exist yet, creating a prop for a cosplay, or creating a new dance to a trending audio on TikTok.

This is a great definition of creativity. It is important to be creative when creating content so that it is unique to an audience.

How do you understand collaboration?

Collaboration is a process where individuals or groups work together to achieve a common goal or solve a shared problem. This can involve the sharing of ideas, resources, responsibilities, and expertise to create an outcome. Effective communication is critical for collaboration. Participants need to express their ideas, share information, and actively listen to one another.

This is a great definition of collaboration! The use of communication is huge when collaborating with a group to achieve a common goal.

What is content?

Content is information, images, and material that get put onto the web, newspaper, video, college class shelf, literally anything. Every source of media contains content. Whether you are a content creator/influencer, a blogger, or just an average person sharing your life on the internet such as Instagram, Tok Tok, Facebook, or any kind of media site, content is created. As well as a professor posting content for a class on the online shelf. Content has to do with what you choose to share with your audience or what you choose to write about. A big part of content is your audience. Content needs to be useful and entertaining to the audience.

what is learning?

Learning is the ability to acquire knowledge and skill through experience or by being taught. It means you are able to acquire new information and skills and apply them to a task, job, project, or really anything. Learning enables people to grow in all aspects of their life.

When I think of collaboration I think of a process where people work together to achieve a common goal. Communication is a huge part of collaboration when working with other people. It allows for ideas to be shared and communicated to reach the goal within the group. Collaboration is not just a one person activity, it involves working with other people and brainstorming ways to achieve an outcome.

When I think of communication, I think of the ability to convey messages and exchange thoughts. Understanding communication is the ability to comprehend a message and be able to make meaning of what was said and allows for you to understand yourself and others.

HTWG Revision 1

Here's a portion of my How to Write Guide. I need to revise my whole project digitally and information-wise. I made it on a Word document which does not have any design elements in it. The information that I have here isn't really a tip either. So, what I want to know is how could I change this? I think the content strategy part works but how can I turn it into a tip. I think it will be very beneficial to keep the content strategy part because the audience needs to know about formulating the content.

I think you could make this a tip by stating "include a purpose for the thumbnails created and the titles include" and below that maybe indent a bullet point and add an example and then simply explain the purpose behind the thumbnail and the title. Why are those aspects beneficial to the content? Be sure to explain why the content creator will need to use this aspect of your guide when creating content.

For my How to Write Guide, I used these screenshots from Instagram to show how using broad hashtags is important. It shows that using a nonspecific hashtag leads to less results than using a more broad 'umbrella' hashtag. I wanted to ask if you think this shows my point? Is it easy to understand or should I use another example?

I think this shows your point! I also included to use broad hashtags when posting content in my h2wg. I think it really adds to the amount of people who see and come across certain posts when you include broad hashtags. It opens the eye to more viewers.

I think this is a good explanation and description when trying to create a caption. It is simple and straight to the point which is what I like to see when viewing cooking content. The simplicity of a caption is a great way be found by numerous viewers with the search of one word. Any suggestions for this section?

this is part of my tips and tricks section. I include more of that information below I just did not include it in the ss. I think this is a good start to address the actual video part of the TikTok. I suggest pieces of equipment to use, how to frame the shot and suggest that the use of good lighting elevates the quality of a video. I know it seems like common sense but for a content creator this might be a good reminder for them before they begin filming. Any suggestions?

this section of my guide is about using the right hashtags. I think this area is simple and right to the point. It gives general, broad examples of hashtags that could be useful for a cooking content creator. I also mention to add hashtags that don't relate to cooking to catch the eye of a potential new viewer. Any suggestions for this section?
