Today was one of the hardest roughest days in my life with the last couple of weeks being shittacular too. We had to say goodbye to both of these sweethearts with Shady (on the right) leaving us earlier this morning and Ginger (on the left) going very quickly on Oct 26. They were both 16 almost 17 and we had them since they were kittens in the same year so it was quite an emotional day. There are no words to describe how awful it feels to put two pets down in a very short time from each other and to have them both euthanized in the same room at the vet clinic. I feel very relieved in a sense that neither of them are suffering any longer, but at the same time I don’t ever wish this to happen to anybody. One is plenty with two being a complete nightmare. They were the last pets that I grew up with to go.
I hope that they are both still playing air hockey together with the milk jug lids up in kitty heaven <3
