The idea that Christian’s in America are oppressed or are being oppressed needs to stop. I constantly see videos along the lines of “Me when Christianity becomes illegal” and it drives me insane. First off, I under stand that the posters could be saying that they will follow Jesus even if it means going to jail, however there are better ways of saying it. And by saying “When” and not “if” they are no longer making it a hypothetical situation. Christians in America will never be oppressed or be imprisoned because they are Christian. This is a county built by Christians, and run by them. There are Christians in this world who are oppressed, there are Christians in Palestine who can’t get to their churches or places of worship because of Israeli checkpoints. Who are now fleeing their home because they can no longer stay there without the risk of death. I want to make this clear, I myself am a Christian this is not me saying I hate Christians this is me saying that some of you need to stop whining and grumping that you can’t insult gay people anymore, and under stand that not everyone wants to have “Jesus loves you” and random Bible quotes in the comment sections of unrelated posts. If you really want to pick up your cross and follow, do it in a better way.
