Welcome to the Gove, I am an independent roleplay blog for the vampire Mael from the Vampire Chronicles. The Mun to this blog is well over the age of 21, and I will only roleplay with those who are the same. You are welcome to follow and interact if you are over 18, however, I will not be Rping with you. I have very few rules here, and as I progress this blog there will be things added and taken away. Here is what you need to know: 1. I am from the United States, I do not disclose anything further about where I am from. There will be very few OOC posts, all will have the correct banner attached, and I don't get personal with people unless we talk regularly. All asks will be answered by my muse unless otherwise stated. 2. I write with everyone, OCS, Canon characters, etc. For shipping purposes do note that I roleplay him as bisexual with a preference for men. While I will write smut with all genders, romantic relationships will most likely be kept to just men. My Highest ships for him are with Avicus, Marius, Thorne and Santino. I am not exclusive and will be openly engaging with multiple blogs of the same character should they come my way. 3. DMs are open once we engage with each other publicly, you will not have access to my social media unless we are close, nor do I have much of it. 4. My blog is dead dove friendly, book based, and not spoiler free. I forget to tag things, I like my writing dark , demented at times, and sexual. I like story/world building and feeling like our characters create a universe all their own. I prefer larger roleplay replies but can handle some small back and forth. 5. I have been roleplaying for several years, and on tumblr for most of them. While this blog is new, I have been RPing as Mael for a long time, tumblr has changed since I have last been here. So please, be patient with me as I grow.

My garden seems to be full of Primrose today, or are you Thistle ? Blossoms is sweet, and a pain in my ass. Her post needs touched up, she needs a new one. She isn't the only one who deserves an upgrade ;)

I wasn't going to offer this a response, I was going to toss it to the pile of deleted asks. But, I have a little bit of time to kill while waiting for this appointment. There are points where Muse and Man blend together, and there are things that will define the way people interpret you. The moments where they muddle together are the important ones, where the feeling of moss and stone begin to feel like I could dig my memories out of the soil and scatter them across modern pavement and asphalt, and grow a life of tall trees and endless skies. The way red wine poured between friends begins to taste metallic, rich, and endless. So, Take it as my personal opinion, take it as Mael's, I couldn't find a single way to care less. Marius is made of dust and desire, he paints loneliness on to canvas. It is not the smell of turpentine and walnut oil on a poorly stretched fabric in a studio. It is the smell of iron, sweat and torment across soft skin. He hangs canvas and carnal need on walls of his palazzo, on the walls of his conscious. If you come here, expecting me to say pretty words about how he is so misunderstood, or about how he could be redeemable, spit the laws of Rome and Modern day and tell me about his 'truth and care', Then I am not your man. I am not blind, I am not living in denial of the evil of the world, I took him from his home. I kidnapped him from his familiarity, and I brought him to a dark ritual that ripped the remnant of soul out of him. When I see him spit the word of laws and patience to any pathetic follower willing to listen, All I think of is the smell of spilled blood. The smell of iron hatred and fear, the emotions of a man who had not been knocked down so far , so fast, in years. The spite that came with it, the desperation for power and acknowledgement does not skip a man's mind in the race of life. He was not an exception to the needs, the wants, the craving for control. If you have come here wanting me to layer him with flowers and herbs, put a dandelion crown in his hair and talk of his mistreatment as a character, You have come to the wrong grove. I prefer him demented, perverted, and with an empty stomach begging for blood and power. Isolation does not mean submissive, Dedication to the laws of vampires does not hold hands with the laws of Mortal Men. Wanting control and power, does not always need an audience. It is not always screamed down into Colosseum rings, sometimes it is simply snapping fingers, and hearing feet run down the stairs. He did the things he did because he liked it, because there was a desire to it, because the skin was soft and sweet. One craves sugar when all they have tasted is salt.

// Greetings, Leave it to me to end up with something that found a way to turn itself into Pneumonia in the middle of summertime. What we thought had been scarlet fever, ended up being full blown pneumonia, and was followed up with being taken more seriously after a recent scare. Due to some personal issues regarding medicines and the allergies that come with it, I've been returned to bed rest following a fever spike. While I don't owe an explanation, I do owe my blog some time. This is a small passion compared to the rest of my life, but it still deserves attention, as do all of you. Thank you all for leaving my asks full of actual questions as opposed to the prior hate from before. Though I'm sure the pests of the world will end up offended sooner or later, for now I enjoy my time here with you. Filling my queue, working on some replies I have left hanging, answering a few asks, and then tonight I'll get some open starters finished and posted between tonight and the morning. I'm on a cocktail of medicines I haven't been on before, so I'm sure my spelling and grammar will be laughable. \\

While I delete these and offer them only that moment of my time, My asks are dwindling down to starters I need to reply to, starters I need to begin, and replying to some actually fun/insightful questions. I see myself being home for longer than I expected over the next couple days, so I will be yours. My auto queue will be filled with more aesthetic posting, headcanons, muse, and a few starters I had pre-written a few months ago that I think would do better here now that I am becoming more grounded and established.
