After hearing that loud thud, you soon got up and rushed out of the bedroom. Elder Faerie was about to stop you because you still need more rest, but he failed to do it in timeβthus leaving him no choice but to also leave the bedroom and follow right behind you.
You followed where the commotion is coming from, it sounds like it was coming from somewhere close by the Silver Tree.. You soon reached there, and to your surprise...
"AHHHH!!!! Doesn't this fresh air just feel... DIVINE!!!!!"
"Oh, I see I have quiet an audience here! I'm SO terribly sorry to have kept you waiting!!!"
"But now... The wait is over! Your favorite trickster is here!"
"... Shadow Milk!"
The Beast then immediately jumps out of the Silver Tree, he proceeds to summon multiple sentient puppet animatronics to distract your husband and other Cookies. Pure Vanilla, White Lily, Ginger Brave and his friends all fought together with Elder Faerie, Silverbell and Mercurial Knight.
While the others were distracted, Shadow Milk wreaked havoc in the whole Faerie Kingdomβburning down multiple houses, possessing the Faeries and turned them all into Clowns.. Everything was in absolute chaos, and too many things are happening all at once..
You were about to draw your scythe out to help everyone else, but suddenly...
"Silverbell, escort my wife and take her away to safety!"
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
Silverbell then picked you up and carried you away to safety, following your husband's word without a question. The knight rushed into a secluded areaβuntouched by the fire caused by Shadow Milk, and certainly haven't been invaded by his puppets.
"Silverbell, what are you doing!?"
"I'm sorry, My Queen...i'm only doing what I'm told to do."
Just as when Silverbell thought that it was safe here, Shadow Milk's puppets suddenly appeared out of nowhere and pounced to attack. But Silverbell was always ready, he simply shoot all the puppets with his bow an arrow, making sure none of the enemies can lay even a single finger on you.
...Though, more and more puppets starting showing up.. Each time Silverbell shoots down two or three puppets, around five or more would show up out of nowhere.
"Ugh...Just how many puppets are there!?"
Silverbell mused, he was very frustrated over the fact that more puppets kept on coming one after another.. Youβknowing that a singular Knight fighting against what seemed to be endless amount of enemies would be highly unfairβstepped up and summoned your scythe.
You would swing your scythe right at the puppets, eliminating all the enemies with such ease and grace. Your movements in each swing is calculated and elegant, your dress flowing in the gentle breezeβalmost as if you were dancing gracefully in a royal ball.
"Hold on a little longer, Silverbell.. Don't give up."
"Yes, My Queen!"
Both you and Silverbell fought together, defeating all the enemies until there's none left...in your current area, atleast-
"Come one, Your Highness.. I must take you to safety!"
Said Silverbell as he lead you towards somewhere much more safer, but...not carrying you or taking your hand might be an unwise decision.. Because as you were about to follow him, you heard a sound of a sword clashing and a distinct yet audible scream.
"ARGH...!"
"YOUR MAJESTY!!!"
The faint voice sounded just exactly like Elder Faerie's voice, and his scream was followed by Mercurial Knight's voice calling out to your husband. So, you immediately run towards the source of the sound, running the opposite direction Silverbell was trying to lead you to.
Silverbell was heading towards the castle, thinking that you were following right behind him so he can take you to safetyβdoing as Elder Faerie told him to not so long ago. Meanwhile, you are running back to the battlefield. You saw White Lily, Pure Vanilla, GigerBrave and his friends fighting off all the puppets Shadow Milk sent out, blocking off all their attacks alongside Mercurial Knight. But you weren't really focused on any of them right now, you believe that they are strong enough to fight off all the enemies. You are far more focused on Elder Faerie, you beloved husband..
Elder Faerie stood face-to-face with Shadow Milk, he was about to channel out all of his powers to seal Shadow Milk back into the Silver Treeβand you, knowing that it might risk your husband's life, won't let it happen.
"I must... fulfill... my duty... And... I am... taking you... with me...!"
"You... you... you...! You little... pathetic!"
"FLYING LITTLE PEST!!!!!!!!"
Elder Faerie was about to to swing his sword right at Shadow Milk, he had mustered up all of the Guardian's Power. But just before he managed to attack, you stepped up and interveneβyou swung your scythe right at Shadow Milk, using your own power to send him flaying back into the Silver Tree. And without wasting any time, you used your power to summon strong vines and closed the cracks on the Silver Treeβsealing the Beast back into the Silver Tree, and ended up using the other half of your Life Powder.. After using up all your power and Life Powder, you need up collapsing to the ground. Luckily, Elder Faerie was there and caught you. He sat beside your weak form, holding you in his arms as he tries to hold back his tears of gratitude and worry. He hand one arm holding your body, his other arm holding your hand in a gentle and loving grip.
"My darling, my Queen... Why...? Your remaining life force-"
"I can't let my beloved crumble..."
Your voice was a bit hoarse and so quiet, it just proves how weak you are currently after your remaining life force has been used for you to muster up all your power. Seeing his beloved in such a weakened and vulnerable state made Elder Faerie's heart ache, tears welling up in his eyes and threatened to run down his face.
You notice how tears were welling up in his eyes, you only smiled weakly. You reached your free hand up to cup his cheek, your hand slightly shaky from just how weak you are.
"My darling, please... Don't cry..."
"..."
Hearing your sentence, hearing how weak you are...it broke Elder Faerie's heart, it made him shed a single tear even though you told him not to.
You began to gently caress his cheek as he was on the brink of crying, you tried your best to calm him down. But with the fact that you might die soon won't help at all.
"... My love... Please, stay vigilant... Don't give up, only you can continue onward..."
"... I don't want you to leave me, my dear... I can't continue onward without you..."
Elder Faerie is so close to crying, both he and you knew that your time is not very long.. But you want to make this worthwhile, you plan on spending the rest of your last moments with your dearest husband. You kissed his forehead, comforting him.
"Please, don't cry, my love... I'll always watch over you, I won't leave you no matter what..."
"You still have a long way ahead of you, my dearest... We were fighting for the same thing, no?"
"Please, continue our legacy with or without me... Fight for Cookiekind and save the world from evil, just like how we wished... I believe in you, my love..."
You spoke before you pulled him in for a kiss, Elder Faerie held you closer to him as he closed his eyes an savored the momentβhe put in all of his passion and desire into the kiss, savoring his last kiss with you..
After moments that felt like an eternity, Elder Faerie opened his eyes and broke the kiss to catch his breath.
"I love you, My Queen..."
"... I love you too, My..King..."
Those we're your last words before you closed your eyes forever, you're no longer with him.. And that's when the dam broke. He broke down crying as he realized that you were no longer with him, he held you against his body as he buried his face into your neck. He didn't leave yet, he just sat there as he hugged your lifeless body.
Elder Faerie can't bring himself together, he can't stop crying.. He loved you too much to let you go, he refused to believe this was actually happening. Even though you crumbled right in his arms, he's still in disbelief that the day he fearedβthe day you were no longer with himβhas come. He knew that everyone must meet their end one day, but he wished that he can meet his end together with you. He wants to crumble together with you, he didn't want you to leave him so soon.. But what can he do? This is fate, he can't do anything about it no matter how much he cried or gaslight himself into thinking that none of this is real. He can only dream a better fate for you, he can only dream of him still living in the times where he was so happy and content of being with you.
...But all of that was taken away from him, his happinessβthe love of his lifeβwas ripped right out of his arms.. And he can't do anything about it...
"... I will continue our legacy, my love... I will fight for Cookiekind and protect this world from evil. I promise..."
Elder Faerie said as he kissed your forehead one last time, he was still holding and hugging youβhe was practically clutching your lifeless body. He stayed like this for a few more hours, he needed some time to prepare himself before your funeral...

After a long, arduous journey, GingerBrave and his friends have finally reached their destination in search for White LilyβBeast-Yeast, specifically the Faerie Kingdom. Pure Vanilla can finally meet his friend after ages, even though it's just through a glass casket.. And Pure Vanilla is determined to do whatever it takes to wake White Lily once again.
"What must we do to wake White Lily?"
"White Lily's body is but a shell. An empty dough."
"To revive it, two things are required..."
"...None other than Soul and Life."
"The shards of the Light of Freedom that you have gathered hols White Lily's soul, and..."
"...And?"
"...We need a powerful life source. As much of it as a living Cookie holds..."
"But that means..!"
"A living Cookie must sacrifice their own Life Powder...?"
"....."
"Yes, a life for a life. A fair exchange."
"... Magic so sinister, and yet so just."

...You were standing a few meters away from the group, you didn't mean to eavesdrop but you managed to listen to everything... From the fact that Silverbell lead a group of outsiders into the kingdom to the conversation your husband is currently having with those outsidersβyou heard everything, and you don't really like the idea of Elder Faerie sacrificing half of his Life Powder. You know how your beloved husband can beβhe's selfless and kind, he's willing to do anything he can for the sake of Cookiekind without caring about himself.
Soon, Elder Faerie suggested that his Life Powder shall be used to revive White Lily and Silverbell was called to perform the Witch's Ritual, but before he can start the ritual...you step up to intervene.
"No. Use my Life Powder instead."
"B-but, Your Majesty! You'll be weakened if we use your Life Powder!"
"It's okay, I'll be fine. Now, begin the ritual using my Life Powder instead."
"...But-"
"Queen's orders."
"...Ofcourse, My Queen."
Multiple CookiesβIncluding Silverbell and Elder Faerieβwanted to object the sudden intervention, but they all had no choice but to stay silent especially since you were so insistent on sacrificing your Life Powder.
You stood beside the lifeless body of White Lily and Silverbell soon began the ritual. Slowly, half of your Life Powder began to drain away from your body and instead transfered to White Lily. Seconds after the ritual was done, White Lily's eyes began to flutter open as she say up from the grassy ground beneath her.
Pure Vanilla, GingerBrave, Strawberry and Wizard rushed to see White Lily, they were all glad that she didn't turn into Dark Enchantress. Though, they all seemed to have forgotten someone...
"Cough, cough..!"
You coughed as your legs weaken and made you collapse onto one knee, your body weakening way much more than you anticipated. And soon enough...your eyes slowly closed as you body collapsed to the ground with a thud.
"YOUR MAJESTY-!!"
All the Cookies shouted, they were all worried for you. Especially after just passing out.. Pure Vanilla was about to stand up and try to heal you, but Elder Faerie stepped up first and picked you up in a princess-carry style.
"I shall escort them myself. Silverbell, aid White Lily and the others. And...tell the other knights and servants not to enter my chambers, I'd like to have a moment with my wife."
"Ofcourse, Your Majesty!"
Elder Faerie then walked back into the castle, carrying you back into your shared chambers. He layed you down on your shared bed, he made sure to lock the door so noone can get in or knock on the door.
Elder Faerie then layed beside you on the bed, his arms wrapped around you as he snuggled close to youβcuddling with you while you rest.
A few hours later...
Your eyes slowly fluttered open, your body felt less weak now. Sure, you're still a bit weak, but not as weak as earlier.. You were about to sit up, but your husband tightened his grip around your waist slightly to stop you from getting upβgiving you the realization that he has been hugging and cuddling with you while you passed out.
"Mm...My darling, rest... I shall stay with you until you got better."
"Hm...ofcourse, my dear.."
You would smile softly, wrapping your arms around Elder Faerie and hugged him back. You can feel his body gently pressing against yours, you then kissed his forehead.
"Hm...you're rather affectionate today, my dear.."
"Hehe...what can I say, darling.. I haven't gotten the chance to be affectionate with you in quiet a long while."
At your giggle, Elder Faerie let out a soft chuckle. He moved his hand up to cup your cheek, his looked at you with his eyes half-lidded as he was about to lean in and kiss you. But suddenly...a loud bang can be heard out side the castle, followed by screams of other Cookie and a loud commotion.

Ah...finally after hours of training, you managed to get a break. You left the training grounds and went to one of your favorite areas within the forestβthat spot under a tree close by the serene river. You sat under the tree, admiring the beautiful scenery around you and the peaceful enviroment. You felt calm, you feel at peace, you finally got the chance to relax. Until someone suddenly spoke...
"Hello there, Y/n Cookie.." Elder Faerie Cookie greeted as he appeared out of nowhere from behind you, silently walking towards you as he sat down next to you. Perhaps a little bit too close...his fingers resting on top of yours, his hand felt so soft and his touch is so tender.
"!" You let out a soft, startled gasp as Elder Faerie Cookie suddenly spoke, making your body tense up in slight shock at the Faerie King's sudden appearance.
"Ah...greetings, Your Majesty." You replied after you silently cleared your throat, trying to ignore the Faerie King's hand on yours. "...What brings you here, Your Majesty..?"
"Oh, nothing.. I just...wanted to ask you something about your kind." Elder Faerie replied, the faintest hint of curiosity laced in his voice right at the end of his sentence. "How does a wingless cookie usually show affection towards someone else?"
At Elder Faerie Cookie's question, you would pause for a brief second. To you, the Faerie King's question is rather random but you don't really see the reason why should you not answer him. "Well, they usually hold hands or hug eachother. At certain states, they might kiss eachother if they agreed with eachother or trusted eachother enough."
Elder Faerie Cookie listened intently to your words, he immediately shifted his hand slightly so he can put his hand ontop of yours the moment you mentioned that holding hands counts as a romantic gesture.
The Faerie King's curiosity piqued as you mentioned about 'kissing eachother'. He understood the concept of kissing, he had seen some of his subjects kiss the cheek or the forehead of their children. Though, he didn't really understand the concept of two partners kissing eachother...he never seen someone else do that, so he doesn't know how it works.
"How does 'kissing eachother' work?" Elder Faerie Cookie asked as he tilted his head to the side slightly.
You would blink at the Faerie King's follow-up question, not really knowing how to explain how kissing works. "...Well.." You hesitated, averting your gaze elsewhere as you try to think of a way to explain.
"...Can you perhaps demonstrate how it works, my knight?" Elder Faerie Cookie asked another follow-up question.
You would pause at the Faerie King's question, a slight blush spreads across your face at his suggestion. "...Well, if you don't mind it, My King.."
Elder Faerie Cookie, noticing your slight blush, got quiet confused. 'Why are you blushing, My Knight?' He thought to himself, but he didn't straight up question you about it. "I do not mind it at all, My Knight. Please, enlighten me about how do couples kiss eachother."
"...If you say so, My King." You replied before you turned to face the Faerie King, leaning a bit closer to him as you held both of his shoulders.
The proximity between you and Elder Faerie Cookie made him blush slightly, his eyes remain locked into yours as he anticipated your next moves. Then, you closed your eyes and leaned in to capture his lips in a soft, gentle kiss.
Your lips felt so soft to Elder Faerie Cookie, you were intoxicating him with how gentle you were being with him. He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around your waist, leaning in to return the kiss as he eagerly melted into your arms.
Eventually, you two would pull away and break the kiss to catch your breaths for a few seconds, only to get right back into kissing. Your hands would move up to hold his cheeks, Elder Faerie Cookie's arms remained wrapped around your waist. But his grip around your waist tightened slightly, pulling you closer to him as he wanted to deepen the kiss.
The two of you would went to the same repetitive cycle of breaking the kiss to catch your breaths and going back to kissing for a few moments over and over again for a really long yet blissful while. After a few moments, you finally broke the kiss to fully end your make-out session with Elder Faerie Cookie. A translucent string of saliva connected your lower lip with the Faerie King's, you would lean in to quickly kiss his lower lip to break that translucent bridge.
"How was that, My King~?" You would ask with a soft tone, looking at the Faerie King with your eyes half-lidded.
Elder Faerie Cookie, however, didn't answer right away. His eyes were slightly blurry, he seemed a bit dizzy from how blissful he felt earlier. He was utterly intoxicated, his mind is filled with nothing but you and how good those kisses felt. After a few moments, he finally managed to speak. "...Would it be too much to ask if I want us to do this more often..?"
