âso to summarise...well done on winning the game, iâm proud of you. super impressed with the goal,â maeve started, handing him a beer. looked like he could use it. ânot as impressed with you for getting into a fight. are you insane, v? did you take something, what the hell was that?â she frowned, reaching up to pull his face closer, inspecting the damage. âiâm sorry, okay? iâm not trying to mom you or whatever, i just...donât like seeing you hurt.â
@hellavincentâ
âWhy thank you, I will take the complimentsâ, he replied with a half-smile. âI am not as broody, have you seen my roommates? It would be impossible to be broody with those bitches flooding my personal space with noiseâ, Asterius joked, âI am quite the life of the party, I love mess, noise and a little chaos; I have no intention of drowning in my depression just yet, Iâd have to kill someone firstâ, he shrugged. âAlwaysâ, he grinned and leaned onto the counter calling for the barman, âWhat are you having?â
âoh, iâm full of compliments tonight, itâs all the booze,â the australian joked, shaking her head. âI wouldnât know, my roommates are great and I thrive off chaos,â she replied, grinning as he mentioned also loving chaos. âWhatâs life without a little chaos huh babe?â she questioned, taking a sip of her beer. âYou ever want to kill someone, I have a little hit list up here.â she laughed, tapping her head. âAlways? A man after my own heart. Big or go home, right? Letâs go...sambucca.â
âyour dad sends you bottles of wine every week?â he questioned. âweird. i havenât heard from my dad since the day i arrived here,â he hummed then, rolling his eyes more so to himself at the thought of that man. he glances out at the field again, digging his almost purple hands into his pockets for warmth. âi did yeah. it was easy. i sent it in ages ago,â he murmured, shivering a little. âplans for christmas? yeah actually. iâm going to order a chinese and watch a shitty rom com in my room. alone. just how i like it,â
âbottles of wine, cheques, festival tickets...thinks it makes up for being a lousy father.â she sighed, shaking her head. âwish i hadnât. mine just checks in to see how my step sister is doing.â nodding along, she smiled softly. âyeah, i sent mine in this morning, it wasnât as bad as anticpated at least.â practically green with envy, she groaned. âthat sounds so fucking good, much better than a lakehouse in Brisbane with the fucking addams family. nothing better than chicken fried rice and pride and prejudice, right?â
chugging back her beer, maeve slammed her cup down on the counter, pulling sofia to the side as she watched her pass. âgod, even tonight you couldnât fucking stop yourself from starting, could you, sof? constantly looking for a fucking fight.â
beer in hand, she plonked herself down beside asterius, rolling her eyes. âokay, listen, you have the tall, dark and handsome thing down but i donât seriously believe youâre as broody as youâre trying to be, especially at a party.â smirking slightly, she nodded over to the bar. âdrink, babe?â
lana was late to the game, not to anyoneâs surprise. she wanted to spend some extra time getting ready, especially since it was dalby. their players were to die for! what was she supposed to do? sliding onto the bench, she passed a flask off. âitâs cold as shit!â she exclaimed, âso who is winning?â @chatsworthinfoâ
maeve couldnât help the immediate eye roll at the sight of her step-sister. âlana, what the fuck are you wearing?â the sight of the girl infuriated her, as she pushed the flask away, sipping at her own bottle of wine. âyou know where itâs warmer? brisbane. with my dad and your mom. maybe try there.â she replied with a false smile. âi donât know, iâm not paying too much attention.â
nate had been relatively ignoring everyone this entire night. he hadnât intended to even show up but he had finally got his assignment handed in and sitting alone in his dorm once again seemed a little sad. besides, he shared a dorm with the captain of the team, and as much as he hated to admit it, he wanted to support him in at least some way. âwho the hell brings wine to a game?â he raised an eyebrow at the girl after she held out the bottle. âiâll be fine, thanks,â
a little buzzed from the wine already in her system, maeve couldnât help but smile when she saw nate, seemingly there of his own accord. she greeted him with a little eyeroll, taking a sip from the bottle. âwell, itâs my bottle of guilt wine that daddy sends me once a week. did you get that gothic fiction paper in?â she nodded. âsuit yourself, mate. got anything planned for christmas?â
â thats my girl. â he replied , letting his arm loosely sling over her shoulder as he took the bottle from her to sip from. âiâm actually a little buzzed already , you know im not the biggest fan of footie , so i had to have some sort of encouragement to attend. â he joked , taking another sip.
ânow why is it iâm only ever your girl when i come with the gift of expensive rose?â she joked, leaning to put her head on Wadeâs shoulder. âoh yeah, who else have you been pinching booze from then, hm?â she chuckled softly, shaking her head. âfootieâs okay, daddy used to take us to the games all the time, had season tickets.â
âokay but itâs actually fucking freezing in here.iâm so cold.â She sighed, taking a sip of the wine filled water bottle she was carrying. turning to view the person next to her properly, she held out the bottle, offering them a sip. âcouple more of these will warm us up no problem, babe.â

sitting in the library, laptop open as she worked on her chaucer paper, maeve sighed, the boredom almost killing her. planner discarded to the side, she twisted the tiffany ring on her finger, fidgeting nervously. looking up, she noticed asterius, eyes on her. a couple of flirtations thrown back and forth here and there in the hallway, and in the little classes they had together. she smiled sweetly, throwing her hair behind her shoulder. âasterius?â she whispered, kicking at his foot under the table to grasp his attention. âhappen to have a pen i could borrow, babe?â
okay so my laptop said no gif but here is my second lil baby maeve! i hope u guys love her!! as always like this post and iâll hit u up on discord for plots!

maeve hollis was born to australian supermodel brooke fielding and australian reality star joseph hollis when they were 25, after meeting in the industry five years prior. because of her parents place in the limelight, even as a young girl, maeve was put in the spotlight, landing her first modelling contract aged 9.Â
growing up, maeve was spoiled rotten and had everything she could ever wish for, expensive clothes, makeup, holidays - she fell in love with travelling, loved it so much her family and friends call her holiday, both because of this love of travel and her last name.Â
the family were always super close, up until she was seventeen, when brooke discovered josephâs affair with a young reality star. this broke maeve, who had always looked up to her parents as the idea of love, being a hopeless romantic. after this, she became closed off to her family and spent as much time away from home as she could, constantly partying.Â
the only place maeve truly flourished was in the classroom, specfically english lit, she found a strange comfort in novels, feeling a little less alone after every one she read..Â
the final straw in maeveâs troublesome behaviour was when she got completely shitfaced at her dadâs wedding to lydia, her step mother. still living with the newlyweds and her mother in the same mansion took a strain on maeve, and when she trashed the wedding party in a fit of rage that night, her parents decided the best thing to do was keep her out of sight and the public eye.
this suited maeve just fine, and she applied to chatsworth the next day. after getting accepted, she packed up her whole life and moved to england to pursue her true passion; writing, specifically journalism.Â
maeve is closed off, bitchy and rude, but fiercely loyal to those she cares about. still a hopeless romantic, with a love of literature, she tries to keep that side hidden though.Â
wanted connections - friends with benefits, an ex boyfriend, party friends, best friends, honestly ANYTHING.
