What she muttered under her breath succeeded on coaxing a small chuckle out of him.Ā āSounds fake? What exactly does that mean?ā He asked, though he found it funny anyway.Ā He was having fun, really, because he cared about things like studying and details and even potions, when nearly everyone grumbled about this subject. If heās able to help her pass, heād be really happy.Ā āStep one, is to put three measures of the fluxweed into the cauldron, next is two bundles of knotgrass, and then you just stir four times, clockwise.ā As he said this, he poured water over the cauldron and cast a spell to create a small blue flame underneath. While he worked, he asked her, āCould you measure the fluxweed?ā
This was like brain surgery to Maeve. Three measures? Measures of what? Cups? Teaspoons? Handfulls? Potions was like a complete different language. She was probably doing better in Latin than she was here.
Regardless, she did as he told, assuming what was a measure and dividing it up. Honestly, it felt more like she was dealing drugs than preparing a potion. Well... Maybe she kind of was.Ā
āDoes that look right?ā
