If you’re a fan of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, I highly, HIGHLY recommend tracking down and playing The 7th Stand User!
It’s an RPG fangame recreation of Stardust Crusaders- but where you get to play as your own self-insert character travelling with Jotaro and the gang.
A personality test determines which (original) Stand you’re given, the game has many multiple paths/endings and variations on the original storyline. The writing is fantastic and it’s incredibly detailed! The game is also very much built with New Game+ in mind, and has certain content only available through multiple playthroughs.
Seriously - I can’t recommend this enough if you’re a JoJo’s fan - it’s honestly the best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game I’ve played, and honestly? The best fangame I’ve ever played full stop.
It helps if you’ve already experienced the story of Part 3: Stardust Crusaders in some form first, as the new story content subverts your expectations, and also allows you to change major outcomes from the existing story.
So, JoJo fans - definitely give it a shot! It’s really excellent!
An alternate set of fan developers are also working on a sequel based on Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable (with the blessings of the original fangame’s creators!)
