I hope that after Sinbad no Bouken is animated, the original Magi series will be reanimated to follow the manga plot more closely, because by the time SnB is finished as an anime, I'm pretty sure the Magi manga will be over too.

One reason why I love Juhaku is because it defied my and fandom's expectations. Like many in fandom, I thought they would just wind up using each other until Hakuryuu defected back to Alibaba's side. Instead they ended up caring about each deeply and I think that's really beautiful and touching.

To anyone who 'hates' yaoi ships in magi because they don't 'make sense'. FIRST OF ALL, a lot of fans ship boy x girl characters in series when they never even really interact. It irritates me when people try to mask their disapproval of gay people with nonsensical BS. Jafar and Sinbad's relationship can totally be shipped because there is a lot of feeling there and it shows in the series.

I love the series but I wish there were an actual gay character in the series. A cool one, not a stereotype. there's no harm in wanting to see yourself in a show or series that you love. =)

I really wasn't expecting Magi to be that good of series tbh. I always saw it and simply ignore it because "magical fantasy series is bleh." BOY I WAS WRONG. This show isn't like anything I've seen at all. The characters and their backstory are simply amazing going with the fact they actually learn and grow as the story progress. And the woman, holy shit they're strong, and they can be independent, if wanted. And the storyline is actually very great and interesting as well. Great, I'm ruined.

It's annoying when people say that JuKou(Judal x Kougyoku) fans are just romanticizing their relationship. BRUH JUST LOOK AT AliKou. THEY'RE FREAKIN' FRIENDS. People hate on the Kou brothers so much and it's just sad.. I love them but I don't like their way of uniting the world. It's not their fault that they have that kind of mindset! They're only following Hakutoku,Hakuyu and Hakuren's will. Kouen and Koumei just idolized emperor Hakutoku so much! Even Kouha followed this too! :(

The sequence of panels where Aladdin slowly breaks down upon realising there's nothing he can do for Alibaba, along with the final full shot of him crying like the child he should have been allowed to be, was beautifully heartbreaking.

Something I've been thinking about since the new chapter is Alibaba and Judal's relationship. Not even in a romantic way but like how has it changed? They spent two years together, so I really want to know. I read a really beautiful fanfic which was an au of the timeskip, so I'm going to feel really sad if it's something like "they ignored eachother for two whole years"
