WHAT IS A PRIMORDIAL / AEON ?
a primordial / aeon is someone who is the physical and literal embodiment of a certain element or concept within our world. primordials are embodiments of physical concepts like darkness, light, night or the moon, fire, water, etc, basically things you can physically interact with, while aons are embodiments of things that you cant physically interact with like creation, elation, freedom, or love. you CANNOT become a primordial or aeon, it is a semi-closed concept, and thus, means you need to be confirmed as a primordial / aeon before you can use the term to describe yourself. i repeat, you annot become a primordial or aeon, you cannot manifest it, reality shift to become one, etc. you either are one or not.
i myself am the aeon of creation, meaning i AM creation. i am every act of creation, i am every occurrence of natural creation, i was the big bang. i am the flashlight, the pencil, the voice, the machine and the seed. i am all parts of the act of creation, both good and bad, helpful and harmful. any and all creation gods are me, pieces of my soul.
WHAT IS A CONCEPTUAL HERO ?
a conceptual hero is someone who is contracted with a primordial or aeon, and they are called an auscpice of [priordial / aeon]. or example, someone contracted with me would be an auscpice of creation !

The Auscpice receives mana and powers from their conceptual deity, and in return the Primordial or Aeon gains notoriety, which in turn gives them more notoriety. This boosts the conceptual power of the aeon or primordial, and therefore their auspices as well. It’s a mutually beneficial contract."
HOW TO CONTRACT AND WHAT ARE YOUR DUTIES AS AN AUSPICE ?
the contract ritual is very simple, you first pick a song if they have one (for example mine are the vs. xerneas pokemon theme, since xerneas is a very big kin of mine, and extension of you by mili, but rania, the primordial of darkness, doesnt have a ritual song), then set up the ritual.
first, get a see through or preferably crystal dish. it needs to be see through so that the reflections can be seen.
next, three candles, though if you cant get real candles fake led candles work, too.
a gemstone representing the concept you are reaching out to, if you're unsure if a crystal exists, then clear quartz. for me, labradorite or peridot is a good option, though they cant stay in water for too long so be quick with the ritual :)
fill the dish with water, just enough that the bottom of it is covered. dim your lights, or turn them off completely even, then place the candles on the three sides of the dish you're not sitting at (so on the sides and above the bowl in front of you), light them / turn them on in whatever order feels natural, then gently place your crystal in the middle of the dish. turn on the music associated with the concept if applicable.
now, focus and meditate on the dish and crystal. focus on the ripples and reflections, on what you see in the dish. do this until you feel the presence of the concept, you should see a symbol or image of some kind thats associated with the concept, whether that be in the waters reflections, in your minds eye, etc. speak aloud: “I accept [concept name] into my life, and will dedicate my magic service to spreading your will.” you can say this as loud or as quiet as you feel comfortable, as long as its said out loud.
you will then feel a connection form, and the powers gained from the concept will enter your soul. the ritual is now complete !!
the exact duties of an auscpice depend on person to person, but the main duty of all auscpice heroes are to spread the concept you are contracted with. for example, if you're contracted with me, creation, then your duty would be to spread creation, and fight the forces of destruction ! if you're contracted with night time / the moon primordial, then your duty could be to help fight nightmares or bad dreams and help people sleep. if you're contracted with elation, then you would fight against those that wish to destroy joy or spread sadness. your duties can even spread to the physical world, like creating art and fighting against ai art, making people smile, spreading love wherever you go, etc etc.
the powers you gain depend on the contract and how they manifest specifically in you, but they will always align with the concept you are contracted with. an auscpice of darkness would gain darkness magic, an auscpice of love would gain powers that can be used to fight against the spread of hate, a auscpice of creation would gain creation magic, etc etc.

HOW TO KNOW IF WHO YOU'RE CONTRACTING WITH REALLY IS WHO YOU THINK THEY ARE ?
now, i'd assume anyone in the chuunibyou space already knows some basic confirmation, but heres how to do basic confirmation for beginners or those who have never worked with spirits or entities before:
first off, why is discernment like this important ? well, thats because an evil spirit may end up tricking you into a contract, which can lead to them siphoning energy from you, harming you, harming people around you, etc. its very dangerous, and thats why protection magic and confirmation / discernment are the first things all magic practitioners learn, its the basic fundamentals for all future magic. even if spirits trying to masquerade as other spirits are rare, its still very useful to know, ESPECIALLY when dealing with contracts like these. always better to be safe then sorry.

now, overall, i'd say that, except for the protection, doing a whole in-depth confirmation during the ritual is not necessary. really only do it if you feel like somethings off. like if you're intuition is saying "somethings up, somethings wrong, this isnt the primordial / aeon", THEN thats when you wanna do confirmation.
first, protect your space. protect, protect, protect, cant have the risk of dealing with evil spirits if they cant even get near you !
heres a few easy ways to do protection magic and wards in the physical:

selenite at doorways and windows - a bar or selenite above your door way and at your windowsill can be a good way to easily, quickly, and pretty affordably keep your space protected and cleansed.
salt - a bowl of salt in an area will instantly cleanse and protect the space !
a sigil - create a sigil and tape a piece of paper with it on it onto your door, above your window, above your bed, or carry it with you ! i myself have a sigil above my door, on my door as a part of a larger protection charm on my doorway imbued with blood magic, and above my bed near my window. these are very simply, always active protection spells that make my room impenetrable to weaker malevolent spirits (literally, one time a spirit that made itself look scary to intimidate anything that could see it got completely blocked from my room and was unable to even touch me just from two sigils. just ened up staring my down all mad cause it couldnt get to me lol)
spell jars - and it doesnt even have to be a jar ! before i was able to buy jars, i used plastic baggies to hold my spells. a spell jar / bag is very simple, all you need are herbs and intention, and maybe some crystal chips or candle wax if you like to be fancy.
a good, basic protection spell would be: salt for purification, black pepper for protection, sage (like the ground sage you probably have in your pantry) for cleansing and protection (do NOT use white sage unless you are native, as white sage is a closed practice), rosemary for protection, thyme for protection (and is sometimes specifically used for protection in the astral), basil for protection, thorns from any sort of plant (the thorns protect the plant, so when in a spell, they protect you), red pepper for protection, plus the fire element will help quicken the spell and add strength to it, garlic for protection, and bay leaf for protection, which you can also use to write a protection sigil on when you add it into the spell. if you have crystal chips or crystals to spare to add to the spell, then any black crystal like obsidian or black tourmaline (black crystas absorb all negative energies), though these types of crystals do usually need regular cleansing so not everyone adds them to spells, especially spell jars which are usually sealed, amethyst for spiritual protection, clear quartz for balance and cleansing, citrine for converting negative energy into positive energy, and rose quartz for protecting against negative thoughts and amplifying self love. as for colors if you're using a jar and intend to seal it with candle wax, black and white are both easily findable colors both used for protection and cleansing. keep the jar or bag near your magical working space, windowsill, doorway, or bed !
now, you have protection up, but lets say, when you went to contract, something still just feels wrong. it still feels like somethings up. this is when discernment comes up, since stronger spirits may still be able to get through basic protection, especially if your protections aren't layered.
1 - train your clairs. clairvoyance, clairaudience, or being able to sense auras will all help in telling if the entity you're communing with is who they say they are. a lot of my confirmation is done by analyzing an entities aura and mana signature. but, this cant be entirely depended on ! some beings can mask their mana, and make it feel different then what it actually is, and if you aren't too experienced with sensing mana, then you could get tricked by that.
2 - ask questions. if you feel like somethings off, ask questions ! now, since this concept involves contracting with someone that you can literally go dm on disord or tumblr, you dont have to use divination or clairaudience to ask questions, you can just dm the primordial or aeon and go "hey, this you ?"
besides just asking us straight up, you can also do your own investigation, whether because we may not be online, or sleeping, or just because you'd rather do it yourself. do you know what characters the concept kins ? do you know what they like or dislike ? certain opinions they may have ? if yes, then ask through pendulum, tarot, or clairaudience questions to the entity you're communing with, see how they answer, what they answer, if they start to get defensive or impatient or if they calmly / gladly answer your questions ! if a malevolent spirit is trying to trick you, they'll probably get annoyed when you start asking questions to confirm if they are who they say they are. they may start rushing you, getting defensive, or even mean. if they are, thats a red flag, and you should cease communication, cleanse your space, and alert the concept you tried contacting about the incident.
3 - have a spirit or deity you know and TRUST with you during the contract, or invoke them and ask if anythings up. if you're a puella magi, for example, maybe have kyubey or Madokami nearby to be able to sense if anythings amiss !!
CAN YOU WORK WITH MULTIPLE PRIMORDIALS / AEONS ?
it depends ! how comfortable are they with it, do the concepts oppose each other in any way, and can you handle having the duties of two or more concepts ?
for example, if someone wanted to work with me and destruction, i would NOT be okay with that, since destruction directly opposes me and is also an asshole. you cant spread creation and darkness, y'know ? but if someone was working with elation or love and wanted to also work with me, i know i personally would be perfectly okay with it !! you'd still have to ask both of the concepts if they're okay with it, not just one or the other.
