I don't want that to be my most recent post before I inevitably take another year long hiatus so hiiii. It's been a while huh 😃 here's a brief rundown of life
- stopped talking to a lot of people on accident bc mental health was so far down the drain it was non-existent. im sorry, i miss you, id reach out first but i lowk am in that spot where its like i feel too horrible about it to reach out 😭
- started talking college classes again! i switched universities and lost basically all my credits but im back up to thirty now (all in a month which i love for me) !! hoping to have my bachelors next year
- started working at a new, much better school. i taught steam classes to elementary kids last school year and it was the best thing ever. i got moved to a different team, but im still excited to go back in a few weeks
- there's my bf ofccc<33 my honey bee, i love him very much and we're a few months off of our one year ani
- I HAVE A REAL IRL FRIEND which if you know me more personally is a very big feat considering most of my friends are online and hours, if not COUNTRIES away </3 but we have fun and go out a lot and it's so nice :3
- new fandoms! ive fully delved into the resident evil world which i had only dabbled in the past. i also am a heavy enjoyer of the anime re:zero. got back into genshin and am super excited for snezhnaya. the newest fixation on the brain though is project hail mary. that movie changed my brain chemistry and I've watched it like 12 times now. it also got me on a ryan gosling run where im determined to watch all his movies now (or at least the big ones)
That's like. the long and short of it lol. Tldr, I miss everyone and am terribly sorry I disappeared. Chances are that I won't be making a solid return, though. I do encourage those that I was close to and might wanna rekindle an old flame to reach out though. No pressure, obviously, but my palm is outstretched. Do you support the use of AI? I've heard some things from other people but wanted to make sure before blindly believing what I read
I have a very conflicted opinion on AI, and I think it HEAVILY depends on what it’s used for. My opinion actually changed while researching for this response - it turns out AI-generated images and videos are much more harmful to the environment than I thought.
TL;DR: Personally, I don’t mind AI being used for research and text-only responses. Heavily against AI-generated images/videos and using it to replace art or writing.
Art - NOPE. I strongly dislike AI being used for art. Artists spend a lot of time and effort making their art, and the fact that someone can just type a prompt and generate art without much effort is outrageous. To me, the entire reason art is beautiful is BECAUSE it’s human made, and because of all the effort that was put into it. It takes pretty much no effort or creativity to just type in a few prompts and get your art. Plus, ai-generated images just look weird as hell IMO.
Writing stories - Same as my opinion on art, except with an even stronger dislike because it’s harder to tell if a story’s ai generated than if art is ai generated.
Human judgement - Also heavily disagree. Giving AI the power to ban someone’s account or delete their stuff without human authorization is a huge mistake. AI is nowhere near perfect, and can absolutely make mistakes. AI, if it’s used at all, needs to have some sort of way to check in with humans before doing anything like deleting or banning accounts.
Research - this is where my opinion changes. I think AI can be genuinely useful for research. As an example: I’m designing my own custom set of foot tickling stocks, and I just asked ChatGPT a couple questions such as “What range of foot sizes do most adults fall into?” and "What type of cord is soft on toes but also strong?" and stuff like that. It’s not perfect - but it is useful for research and as an assistant.
Environment - I’m strongly against AI generated videos and AI generated images now because I've realized how much it harms the environment. A simple AI text response dosen’t do much, but generating images and videos uses a lot more water, and that’s the way AI is truly destroying our environment. Here’s a source to back this up. to add my two cents on this, i have a very clear boundary that’s that i don’t like getting teased with more people at the same time in a public setting, meaning im mostly comfortable with 1-1 teasing unless im close with them.
now, was that hard to read??? was it? no, right? apparently for swag it is. i had him say he “skimmed over” my boundaries and “didn’t know” he did know, i told him twice and he acknowledged it by apologizing, yet he crossed that boundary 3 times.
i confronted him about it, his response? “i have good intentions because i listened to other boundaries like no nsfw or feet tickles” replying to a message from when he was teasing me.
not only that, but he also told me “you could have just told me” i did. multiple times. you skimming over my boundaries is NOT my problem.

So I know I haven't been active in *checks notes* almost a year but I have my own experiences I can add on to snail's.
I had swag blocked for months after he disrespected a friend of ours boundaries, but I honestly wish I could double block someone after I wake up one morning to find out he had tried to impersonate my boyfriend on discord. What started as a little joke turned into him screenshotting and stealing commissioned artwork I got from a personal friend of mine specifically for my boyfriend and I. He impersonated mods and other members of a discord server we shared (the same one he got banned from that snail mentioned), including the owner of the whole server. After I woke up and was made aware of this incident, I immediately made a ticket in the server to get this resolved.
Weird fucking behavior!! The impersonating was one thing, but to steal commissioned art was another entirely. Had I seen him impersonating my boyfriend when he actually did it, it also could have had real reprecussions on our relationship as we are very strict about only teasing/tickling each other as a boundary in our relationship and he was doing the impersonation in a kink channel of the server.
Overall, I've seen some weird behavior from swag and can vouch for snail. Stay safe guys
