A lifetime ago, the mods of this blog were discussing the fact that there was no space to talk about the inherent transphobia of the HP fandom (due to... You-Know-Who.) We wanted to share stories and celebrate ourselves and talk about what we could improve as a community. Thus, how the discord server was born.
This blog is here to gather the observations that we've made and to celebrate trans identity this side of tumblr!
And let it be clear, when we say trans, we mean: binary, nonbinary and everyone who do away with the whole thing. Trans is a latin prefix which means "on the other side" or "across". It has nothing to do with transition. No matter your gender presentation or your desire to transition or not, if you are challenging your gender assigned at birth, you are welcome in trans spaces. The labels that you use are your choice only and don’t have a lot of importance on your access to the spaces we’ve created here. There is no “not trans enough” here. You are valid in your identity (or lack, thereof).
The server welcomes trans and cis individuals and all those who are not really sure where they stand.
