✨The mental health and hope of us all is preserved and thriving✨
✨🕯likes and reblogs with intent help to release these intentions and energies into the world. Of course, take real life actions such as ones below to help flatten the curve. Stay safe and wash your hands.🕯✨
Some ways to help and flatten the curve and prevent yourself and others from getting sick, and to help and support those who are the most vulnerable during this time.
Wash your hands for 20 seconds with warm water and soap, be sure to wash your wrists as well
Wash frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, bathroom surfaces, counters, tables, and lightswitches
Cough and sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, wash your hands afterwards
Donate time or money if you can. Check to see if local hospitals, homeless shelters, food banks, and other essential places are accepting donations. Some hospitals are even accepting cloth, handmade masks if you have the time and skill. Check local services to see if you can help
Check on your neighbors and loved ones. Especially if you have elderly neighbors or loved ones. Send a text or call, ask if they need any help, volunteer to go grocery shopping for them, cook them a nice healthy meal, help however you can while still keeping yourself and your loved ones safe
Keep in contact with friends and family, a call or text in these lonely times of isolation can greatly lift someone’s spirits and give them hope
Stay home as much as you possibly can. Seriously, stay home unless you absolutely must go for essential jobs or grocery shopping or medical care
Check your local news, especially state, county, and city news. Keep up to date on what changes are being made to prevent the spread and take note of advice local health experts give
If you must go outside, avoid all physical contact with people. Stay 6ft away from others and do not touch them.
Avoid touching door handles and lightswitches with your bare hands
Don’t panic buy!!! Other people may need those supplies you’re hoarding more than you.
Don’t panic in general. Take a deep breath, meditate, play music, play a video game, watch a movie. Distract yourself, calm down, and keep in touch with your own body. Listen to what your body needs and do your best to stay mentally and physically healthy
