I'm Strawberry Crepe Cookie- the BEST(and currently only) MAGICHANICAL ENGINEER!! I wanted more people to be able to see my genius involving my Wafflebots, and as such have made this blog in order to share my incredible inventions with the world.

OKAY now that I'm back for a limited time, I need to rant about Ovenbreak
THEY ADDED ME BUT AT THE COST OF MY BOUNDARIES AND IM ANGRY IM ANGRY ABOUT IT. BLUE WHALE COOKIE IS NICE, I GUESS, AND WHILE I PERSONALLY MIGNT BE FINE WITH HER IN MY SOURCE OR WITH ANY POTENTIAL BLUE WHALE COOKIE FICTIVES, IN OVENBREAK SHE REPEATEDLY BREAKS A BOUNDARY MADE VERY CLEAR TO HER FROM THE START: DO NOT TOUCH ME. I DONT WANT YOU TO INFANTILIZE ME. I DONT WANT YOU TO PARENT ME. I DONT WANT YOU TO ACT LIKE YOU KNOW WHATS BEST FOR ME. I DONT WANT YOU TO ACT LIKE YOU KNOW ME BETTER THAN I KNOW MYSELF.
This message goes for ALL children, teenagers, and adults, by the way. This goes for anyone who's been treated as lesser just because of a few social behaviors. Especially for all of us who have experienced the torment that is being praised for your genius one second, and babied the next.
Some people have reasons for their touch aversion, like trauma, but some people don't. Some people have sensory issues. And some people just don't want you to touch them. You do not need a reason to have a boundary that makes your life more comfortable.
To wrap this up I'd like to be clear: No, I do not hate any Blue Whale Cookie fictives that may or may not exist. What I do hate and will hate until the day I crumble is having my boundaries disrespected while I'm yelling for someone to stop. For as much as I like that I'm in the game now, I am genuinely revolted by every scene of me being forced to hug or even just be in close proximity with anyone there. I don't want your hugs. I don't want your pity.
Stop treating autistic kids like brats with no reason to be rude, sometimes yelling is the only way anyone listen to us, and maybe if more people recognized that, things could be different.
Context as it's probably required or whatever: For a little over a month now front has been COMPLETELY locked up, the only people who could front were hosts and some other miscellaneous losers. Even before that for roughly a month certain alters were just locked out. LIKE ME!!!
That said, as our health goes back up, front gets more unlocked. TAKE CARE OF US, MORONS! To be clear that was directed at my headmates

I'm bored so I'm coming to Tumblr and asking you guys if you have any tips on Kingdom design. I'm gonna redecorate our Kingdom and make it better and more like the Vanilla Kingdom, but we also really wanna make it Golden Cheese Kingdom themed(NOT both at once I need to stress that). And Silent Salt Cookie wants to make one that's partially Faerie Kingdom and partially his area place thing themed

ITS REALLY GOOD there's a plague doctor cookie now and everyone here is obsessed with him. Plague doctors are a major collective interest here so I'm not suprised
He's technically not a real plague doctor even though he has some details similar to them on him, he guards catacombs and speaks to spirits. I wonder what a dough analysis on him would look like...

realizing the way i used to write strawberry crepe was an response of extreme contrast to the way i see them handled in general, and i recently managed to properly nail down my characterization of them and why i was so irked by the way they get treated.
strawberry crepe is a nonbinary, autistic, teenage prodigy with touch-aversion (autism), low social empathy (autism), and extremely high intelligence (autism). they hate being infantilized because they are actually really fucking smart and are able to hold and intelligently contribute to conversations most people aren't even smart enough to keep up with! im willing to bet my soul that the reason strawberry crepe is so loud and abrasive is because they're USED to being brushed off and not taken seriously.
infantilization is a problem a lot of autistic kids face, ESPECIALLY teenagers who already have societal/cultural problems being taken seriously even without autism stacked on top of that. im sure if you're a teenager or have ever been a teenager, you know that. (source: me. and my siblings. i was that kid and i was that teenager, and i watched my siblings struggle with this very same issue.)
the only one strawberry crepe respects on any level is espresso and that is because he treats them like an equal colleague, not a kid. don't get me started on their ovenbreak story because the amount of times their boundaries were clearly stated (via them saying "no" and "don't touch me") and their consent to be touched was still breached and disregarded despite that, just... god. that was genuinely horrifying. i cannot believe that behavior wasn't narratively condemned. that shit wasn't cute.
they're not anyone's kid. they don't want or need a mom. they don't want or need dads. yes, they need a proper connection to living beings so they can learn how to socialize properly (autism strikes again), but a parental figure (especially one who ignores their stated boundaries and breaches their consent to be touched) is not what they need. what they need is an older sibling like figure, because siblings are equals in dynamic unlike a parent-child relationship, and i think a LOT of crepe's issues come from not being taken seriously/treated as an equal when by all rights they should be. (source: me again. my younger siblings had me to help them with their issues when they were younger, and they trusted me to listen to their frustrations and take them seriously, because we respected each other as equals when no one else did.)
anyways. espresso slots into that "older sibling" role very very easily because he's the only one who does the bare minimum (on screen*) and treats them like an equal.
(* we see very little of pure vanilla and strawberry crepe, but i do not think pure vanilla would treat them like an unintelligent child. to me, he is their mentor; mentor-student is vastly vastly vastly different than parent-child because it is 1) a consensual agreed upon relationship that can be backed out of by one or both parties at any time, 2) FAR more respectful.)

Anyways! I basically just wanted to say hi & that I think your blog is really neat! I still need to finish making mine, esp since it's just a refurbished alt from our host.
It's been really interesting to see just how many there are out there, I guess it makes sense since people form/split from things they're interested in a lot and I am the best character in Cookie Run, but it's still surprising. Especially since I've been the collective favorite for years before I even formed and seeing others is sort of surprising. Not the only Magichanical Engineer anymore... HMPH!
The ask isn't odd at all, I only took a while because I've been exhausted and still am. I like talking to other cookies occasionally it's neat
