It's a great day to appreciate the little things in life

I prayed for the first time in a couple years last night. It's crazy how we get so caught up in the world we rarely have time to reflect on our lives. I always used to think I was praying for nothing and God never heard me out like what's the point? I constantly felt like life was getting harder and harder. Maybe I was just really selfish then and didn't see this as a blessing. God really pushed me to my breaking point to grow as a person. If prayer as taught me anything is that God has a good humor and a optimistic view. Sometimes you just have to stop being selfish and see how much you've already been blessed with already. Open your eyes
