Too many left turns lefted me suspicious of my beloved's intentions. "Where does this misanthropic woman with her augmented thoughts leading me?" I began to wonder as I meandered in and out of consciousness.
"I need another drink!" she stated at me in a tone of apathy and contempt. "Well," I replied, "I think I do too. After you."
Before you knew it, we entered the bar through the front door. Pain and neon, strangers dying for the night.
The bar top had a smell of vomit and over indulgence.
Our paramount stage, I yelled, "Action!"
Too many shooters left me concerned about my beloved's intentions. "Why does this despairing woman with her queer heart lead me here?" I continually thought as she meandered in and out of consciousness.
"I need to go." she slurred to me in a vulnerable tone. "Well," I replied, "I think so too."
We waited in the rain for the cab. I looked into her pale jade eyes. We knew this would be the end, for now. She and the cab drove off.
My flask and I followed the neon home.
