Pregnancy Brain. How long does it last?

Brain fart of the day. To say, "sewing construction," I said, "fabric togetherness." My manager gave me credit for knowing the answer even though it was...so wrong. Yes, pregnancy brain does continue after labor. Science shows that. I think I proved it. Fabric togetherness. FABRIC TOGETHERNESS! I mean what the heck was I thinking? I was even trying to sign what I was saying. I signed the word, "more." I know what sign means together. I said more. So. Sewing construction is now more fabric togetherness. Ditz.

Just finished this beauty! Made with Sweet Roll by Premier Yarn. It's definitely a one skein wonder! I'll publish the pattern soon, but this was a first go. Whatcha think? This is now available on Etsy for 32.00, should you wish to purchase this beautifully soft scarf that reminds me of the beach!

So, sometimes I spend a day or two just practicing stitches. I say to myself, "What if I do this? Or this with this?" The result is sometimes spectacular for instance, I found out how I can do this ribbing that looks a LOT like knit ribbing, but with my crochet hook! Doors opening? I can hear it!

So, couple things about this video:

1. I know the lighting is bad...and the angle not so great...I had my phone between my chin and my clavicle to record this...

2. I kinda wanted to show a color change done with Double Crochet while I was making a hat because for this particular item, you don’t need to cut tails or crochet with the second color through the end. It’s a simple drag up and yarn over approach.
