“don’t just stand there, looking at me.” Or at least that is what their face in the reflection said.

Zero could feel his entire body tense up, and for a moment he couldn't help but wonder if he was hallucinating. For years, he'd had nightmares off and on of the potential of Giratina wanting revenge for what happened. He'd been paranoid enough to refuse to ever have mirrors in his home, and yet, he couldn't control what was outside. He'd just been walking past the small pond, there was a ripple and suddenly he was staring at the face of a very familiar creature.

He was startled further when the reflection in the water of Giratina spoke, though he did notice something odd. The colors were wrong. Everything looked the same, but the colors were different. Though, that fact didn't calm the researcher down at all

"What do you want?" His voice came out far shakier than he'd wanted it to, and if one didn't know better they'd think he might actually be about to cry.

Admittedly, he hadn't been paying attention, instead very much focused on the game he was currently playing. They weren't out doing field research today, and frankly he can only watch so many gameshows before he felt like banging his head through the wall.

So when he felt a sudden tap of his shoulder, he jumped a little, looking up at Sanctus only to feel a smooch on his opposite cheek. "You think you're so funny, huh." Zero would huff, leaning his head back against the back of the chair so he could look straight up at her.
