yeah that’s true; Hulu is in 60% owned by Disney, the whole season 2 of Alone Together is there to stream, but it’s still airing on Freeform as well

3B airing in September? - let’s see how it could work

IT’S JUST A THEORY

There’s a certain pattern when it comes to Freeform’s programming

Siren ended May 24th

Cloak and Dagger premiered June 7th

That’s 2 weeks of “hiatus”

Shadowhunters was supposed to end May 29th (but ended a week earlier)

The Bold Type premiered June 12th

There were supposed to be 2 weeks of hiatus

Alone Together ends August 29th

They have nothing else left to air

If 3b aired 2 weeks later, September 12th, it would mean that the Halloween episode (3x18) would air exactly on Halloween. Moreover, the whole crew have more than enough time to edit 3x21 & 3x22 so it could air right after 3x20

Let’s also notice how they suddenly changed schedule for Alone Together. As far as I know, it was supposed to be on air for 10 weeks, not 5. Freeform could’ve done it to make room for Shadowhunters in September. On top of that, the cast had their press day this week, and one of journalists said that the article will be out “soon-ish”. I wouldn’t say that Spring 2019 is anytime “soon”.

And come on, why announce Luke as Jonathan now, if 3b airs next year? We were rooting for August, but September doesn’t sound bad at all.

Also, keep fighting. Filming ends this Friday and so /probably/ do cast’s contracts. No one has given us a “no” so far, so we have just as many chances as 2 months ago - or even more, with how loud we are

Alright, this is not a buzzkill, I promise, but people need to realize something

Yes, filming should end by August 7th. Will the negotiations start shortly after that? It’s possible - the cast should be out of contract.

But the cast only. So, who knows?

The PRODUCTION WON’T end in August. We might not hear anything in August and I’m afraid that people will panic. Post-production should take about 3 more weeks and THEN we can hope for negotiations to start. And the negotiations can take a few weeks as well. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe we’ll get news in August but I don’t want people to lose hope if we won’t. We WILL, but if not in August, then by the end of September for sure. If there would be no chance, we would’ve known about it weeks ago. No network gave us a “no”, so once negotiations are possible, IMO at least Amazon and Netflix will try to pick up the show.
