In his latest attempt to put Alex Ariza down, Freddie Roach actually cast a bigger cloud over Manny Pacquiao’s career.

"I think he’s (Alex Ariza) a little shady, you know. He used to give Manny a drink every day before we worked out and I asked him, ‘What’s in that drink,’ and he would never tell me. And I said, ‘I need to know what’s in that drink because, you know, you’re giving it to my fighter and if something goes wrong, I’m gonna get the blame.’ In my opinion, he’s a little shady." -Roach told Radio Rahim.

So Freddie calls Alex Ariza “shady” for making these ‘mystery drinks’ for Manny Pacquiao. Doesn’t this accusation make Pacquiao “shady” as well for taking these drinks for 4 years during the peak of his career? Ultimately, it’s the athletes responsibility to know what’s going into his body. And what does this say about Roach? He makes this public now, but he obviously didn’t have a problem with it while Pacquiao was killing his competition.

Freddie Roach just needs to move on. Any chance he gets, he tries to talk bad about Ariza. However this time, he actually hurt his beloved Manny Pacquiao the most.
