The end of the year always ends up with a lot of looking back.

This was the opening night of my Onion City Memories solo exhibition and it was definitely a night to remember for me. I created 9 paintings, 9 comic book illustrations, and 22 small illustrations for this show and it was only Chapter 1.

Finished this in the last few days before our big move back to the midwest. I started this painting like 3 years ago. It was based on a much smaller marker sketch. I would leave it for 8 months sometimes and come back to it. Its concept and the intention behind the piece have changed/evolved over the years. I’ll just leave you with this.
