i can’t remember if i ever said it but:

𝒽𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘯. remilia wants to be touched but at the same time is terrified of it. so many touches in her life went wrong from childhood to now — bruises, wounds. injuries that faded from skin (save for one that remains a scar to this day near her belly) but remain in memory. there have been times she has flinched at even the barest quick movement, so there may be times during threads that your muse may have to move slow; as if approaching a wild & frightened animal. they may even have to verbalize what they’re doing: i’m just going to lay my hand on your shoulder or i’m just going to lay my hand upon yours or, if in early romance, i’m going to kiss you now. over time, she will grow used to it & realize that not all touch is meant to be harmful &, of course, those she truly trusts may touch her at any time without warning her. (there have even been times she has bared her teeth, true draconic part of her soul appearing through the usually—overwhelmingly mortal part, such as a dragon may do. (not very threatening with human teeth, but…) she immediately realizes & will apologize asap.) but… yeah. i just wanted to touch on this. 🫶
