My quick thoughts on Legend of Zelda and Zelink:
My favorite Zelinks are TP, ALBW, OOT, ALTTP, ST, Oracles, EOW, and TOTK!
TP Zelink are my top faves. I just love exploring their relationship. All the interesting ways that they could go about getting together. And just the soft and gentle aspects to their relationship 💚💜
I am the self-proclaimed King of ALBW Zelink lol. I say this because I genuinely believe that I'm one of the few people on planet earth who cares about them. They are just SO underrated. But if nobody in this cold, cruel world will create ALBW Zelink content, THEN I SHALL CREATE THE ALBW ZELINK CONTENT MYSELF!!! (my mission statement lol).
I'm not a big fan of BOTW, but I like TOTK. I know. I'm weird 😂

I love RPGs! Please feel free to talk to me about these whenever! There's so many series I'm familiar with. Paper Mario, Final Fantasy, Octopath Traveler, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona, Trails, Chrono Trigger. I'm also a big fan of FromSoftware's games! So feel free to talk to me about Dark Souls and Elden Ring too 🔥
I also love anime and films. My anime tastes are mostly geared towards Shonen, but I love all sorts of stuff. Hunter x Hunter, Attack on Titan, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure are among some of my faves. Aside from that, I'm always trying to check out new movies! It’s this time of year again ! I know some people complained about some colors being too close from one day to another so feel free to modify the hue a bit if you think it’s necessary (I won’t make a new wheel again because I don’t want several wheels available on tumblr and people who wouln’t know which one to use)
be poetic. if you find the way the light falls through your window and onto your bedroom wall pretty, write about it. call it soft and golden as sunlit honey. if it makes you glad to be alive then it’s not silly. you look for the beauty of things, be proud of that. say the heavy rain is kissing you. write about the glow of the moon, the dancing of flowers. make your world magical. collect your metaphors and treasure them.
Every time I read or watch Lord of the Rings I can’t help but think about how Tolkien had survived one of the bloodiest, most cruel, most dirtiest and darkest wars in human history, came back and wrote this:
“The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.”
And this:
"'I wish it need not have happened in my time,' said Frodo.
'So do I,' said Gandalf, 'and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.'"
And this:
"I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend."
And this:
“Many that live deserve death and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be so eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the wise cannot see all ends."
And this:
“True courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one.”
And clearly they were all written partly because he survived the war, because of what he’d seen and done and learned. But at the same time the unwillingness to lose faith, the courage and strength that this man had to believe in these things after going through hell! It makes the nihilists look so cheap, so uninteresting! People who’ve went through concentration camps and wars believe in humanity anyway, isn’t that proof that hope and love exist? And many, many, many of them did not return or returned broken and cruel and traumatised to the point when no faith in others was possible for them, and nobody can blame them. But there were many who refused to lose faith and hope. They have seen some of the worst that life has to offer and came back believing that we shouldn’t be eager to deal out death in judgement and should love only that which the sword defends.
No matter how many people say that humanity is horrible and undeserving of love, and life is dark and worthless, and love doesn’t exist I remember this and have hope anyway. Because there were people who have actually had all reason to believe in the worst and still believed in the good, so the good must be real. The good is real, even despite the evil, and we must trust in it.
Yeah, you and everyone else 😂 Jk, jk, only one other person asked about it, which I answered here. But the brief, basic premise is that ALBW Zelink find a lost maiamai who goes on to believe that Link and Zelda are his parents. So now Link and Zelda have to escort the little fella home while also taking care of him ❤️ (And dealing with various maiamai-related shenanigans lol.)
Case in point, maiamais like to stick to things, like walls and other surfaces. So what happens when this one decides to attach itself to Zelda's bosom? 😂
"Link… he’s really stuck. Can you pull him off?"
His face erupted into shades of red. “You can't be serious. Impa might cut off my hands if she catches me doing… well, this…”
I imagine it might be more than a little awkward if someone comes in and sees Link tugging on the princess's breasts with no context lmao
I swear I've included this on like every wip game I've participated in for like 2 years now and no one has ever taken the bait and asked about it. And yet, lo and behold, I have now received two asks for it at once 😂
Hahaha so I already kind of gave a summary of what it's about here. But if you want a brief rundown, it's a TP Zelink songfic based on the song "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne. I feel like the lyrics just work SO well for a post-TP story 😌
