hi! welcome to main story quest, a final fantasy/kingdom hearts-inspired webcomic about some guys trying to do main story in a VR immersive alternate version of ffxiv with gatcha, but a game-breaking bug keeps getting in the way... it's a parody of final fantasy and a retelling of the plot of FF7 in the world of FFXIV, my love-letter to the series, a criticism to where the series has gone, and most importantly an attempt to fulfil a childhood dream of mine to write my own final fantasy game.

hi, tomorrow is my phlebotomy certification test. my fate rides on passing this test so please send me thots and pears

on another note, i'm trying hard to have a 2 update week since i missed a week. im 1/5 pics currently and halfway on a second pic, but bc of the test, may not be this week. if i fail, it may not be in the near future because i will be severely depressed. but i'm fairly confident... at least more confident than i was yesterday. that's all i can hope for.

an update on updates

i'm aiming for 1x a week. i'm back in school, and back on ffxiv (but that's been helping my momentum believe it or not). i took a break to finish a commission + just take a break, and i'm excited to work again but i'm also dealing with "well now that i've sat on it for a long time i wanna edit the writing" so they're slow because i'm trying to work on the scene again as i go LOL

i'm not publishing anything i'm not super happy with (writing-wise... art is whatever...), so please be patient as i try to perfect this scene as much as i can. it's important to me that it's good.

i miss msq sooo much and i want to pick up updating soon. i'm almost done with Dawntrail and the parallels are crazy, but they're not the same story.

anyway i'm also in school for phlebotomy. wish me luck !!! hopefully updates will resume again soon. we're so close to the end of this chapter !!

HOWL: My mind’s a bit muddled from the enhancements, so I don’t really remember what we talked about… HOWL: But I remember them. LARK: wait, is that why your eyes were glowing? HOWL: I suppose. I don’t really know what it does cosmetic-wise. HOWL: …But I don’t get very many opportunities to just sit. And think. And look around. HOWL: Not without having to be on guard. HOWL: Even then, I was… LARK: heh, i get it

HOWL: But… there were the stars. They helped. HOWL: I’d never seen anything like them. HOWL: They weren’t just pictures in the skybox. They were almost… real. HOWL: Or as real as you could get, I suppose.

HOWL: … HOWL: I felt strange… witnessing them. Like I shouldn’t be. LARK: well… you kinda weren’t. LARK: uhm, no offense! again HOWL: It was terrifying. HOWL: I… want to go back… LARK: hehe, well, i can try to take you back sometime, but it’d mean you’d have to be resurrected… LARK: uhm… LARK: well, i'm sure you'll die again at some point!

HOWL: … HOWL: I know you didn’t mean to have me there in the first place… you've told me that. HOWL: But even when I occupied your space uninvited, you still welcomed me.
