On Gerry Keay's Hair: Why It's Not As Bad as People Seem To Think
as the title suggests. i went and looked up the transcripts of the statements he appeared in or was mentioned, because reasons, and here are all the descriptions of him i could find (lmk if i missed any)

As shown, only one out of the five statements mention that his hair is poorly dyed - and the statement giver in question held a pretty negative opinion of him when giving said statement, so...bias mayhaps?
All I'm getting from most of these descriptions is that his hair was very obviously dyed and not naturally black, which yeah you can tell from the hue and way the light reflects and whatnot. But it's not an absolutely horrible terrible dye job.
In conclusion, the TMA fandom's been doing him dirty :( (i will admit its funny though.)
the worst part of getting into new media is when youre at the stage where youre completely obsessed with it but you cant go through the tags or seek out anything about it bc youre not fuckiny done yet

How concerned should one be when their parents begin using “no more The Magnus Archives” as an actual threat when they misbehave?
I just saw someone use the term “Jonspiracy theory” and will now proceed to apply it to my everyday vocabulary.
I do not know what makes me so angry about people making British characters use US terms and language in fanfiction, but I deeply dislike it. I’m sorry to all those lovely writers who just don’t know that certain words have different meanings in other countries, and I know that I don’t have the right to judge because I’m way farther from being British than any of them. I find it incredibly interesting how strongly I seem to react whenever I see someone says “pants” in a fic when I didn’t even know what that word meant in any context a few years ago.
