This post is because at the fan meeting held on July 9th in Yokohama, the results of a poll on fans' favorite songs were revealed, and "Desperado" only received 4%. Mr. Choi was visibly surprised. I'm saddened that such a personal and beloved song for him—it's the first track on his debut solo album—is among the least popular. He said that perhaps it's because they hadn't heard it live and that he would make sure they came to like it as much as he does. Personally, I like its rhythm; it's very danceable. I can imagine myself dancing to it in a pub.

The songs Another Dimension Holy Dude !!!!!!!!!! and Zero Coke begin with the phrase "Open Your Eyes"

The phrase "Open your eyes" reminds me of one of my favorite movies: "Abre los Ojos" by Alejandro Amenábar, or its American version, "Vanilla Sky," starring Tom Cruise.

This movie begins and ends with this phrase: Open your eyes 👁️

César has it all: money, success, and striking good looks that he uses to seduce women without commitment. Everything changes at his birthday party, where he meets Sofía and falls madly in love. However, this new romance awakens the obsessive jealousy of his former lover, Nuria. Nuria causes a car accident with the intention of committing suicide. Although César survives, his face is horribly disfigured. Unable to accept his new reality, he sinks into depression until one night, he falls asleep and wakes up the next day with his face completely healed and Sofía waiting for him.

From that moment on, the film becomes a mind-bending puzzle. César begins to experience strange events: his surroundings change inexplicably. Sofía sometimes acts like Nuria, transforming the reality around her, which leads him to murder the woman he can't distinguish between Nuria and Sofía. He is accused of murder and ends up in a psychiatric hospital with his face covered by a mask.

Through flashbacks, we discover the truth behind César's nightmare: after the accident, desperate because of his disfigurement, he hired the services of the company Life Extension to be cryogenically frozen, while his mind lived in a lucid dream designed specifically for him.

The final twist reveals the depths of César's desperation. Unable to live in a world where he destroyed Sofía and himself, he chooses cryogenics. He doesn't seek immortality out of ambition, but to create an eternal dream where Sofía still loves him and his face remains untouched. Their love story is so tragic that he prefers to renounce real life in order to be forever trapped in the memory of the night he fell in love.

On June 8th, 2017, mr. Kwon released the song "Untitled" inside the album, "KWON JI YONG".

On June 8th, 2022, mr. Kwon uploaded a series of pictures to reminisce about this day five years ago. One of them is a famous line from "Abre los Ojos - Vanilla Sky": "Look at us. I'm frozen and you're dead, and I love you".

Rumors at the time said that in the video for the song Untitled, GD was supposed to jump off a cliff, building, or something like that, but due to the circumstances, it wasn't done.

The Lovers by René Magritte

In T.O.P's song "Be Solid," there are a couple of echoes that say "all over" and "spread it all over", but I can't help but hear "lovers"

I managed to capture this image from his Instagram on April 8th — he deleted the post instantly — it's the painting "The Lovers" by René Magritte.

The reason René painted this picture is not known for certain, as he had a habit of not revealing the meaning of his works and preferred to leave a mystery open to the viewer's interpretation. However, there are three theories about it:

The barrier of desire: The veil transforms an act of passion into an act of frustration or isolation, since the lovers cannot feel each other's skin or truly kiss. It symbolizes the impossibility of fully knowing or connecting with other people, even our loved ones.

Blind and forbidden love: The hidden faces suggest that love can be secret, concealing the lovers from the judgment of society.

Childhood trauma: It is believed that the painting represents the tragic memory of his mother's suicide. She drowned in the Sambre River and was found with her shirt wrapped around her face.

Just as René Magritte left his works open to the viewer's interpretation, Mr. Choi has also intended to do so with his album; multiple perspectives.

Y’all remember that time two days ago when Irko posted this little nugget on his IG in which he informed us he didn’t know who T.O.P was or anything about his past before meeting him, including his history with Bigbang?

Call me crazy, but that computes in my tiny mind to him not having any idea who GD is either. As an artist, you don’t know G-Dragon without knowing BigBang, and you certainly don’t know BigBang without knowing Top. So if Irko didn’t know Top or anything about his past, it’s safe to assume he didn’t know a lick about G-Dragon either.

So then why—WHY would Irko request photocards of GD as his freebies when buying Another Dimension if he didn’t know the man? If Irko hadn’t met him at some point during Seunghyun’s album production?

And sure, I bet he did discover who G-Dragon was after being brought up to speed on Top’s background prior to working with him. I’m sure he read the Wikipedia. But to then request a photocard of him? Just because?

Sorry besties, but no. I’d bet money that Jiyong met Irko multiple times throughout the production of Seunghyun’s album. And you know what? I’ll say it. I think he was there in the studio for a lot of it too. I think he sat in Irko’s studio with his gay little headphones on his gay little head and squirmed in delight while his husband’s album came together before his eyes.

And that’s why Irko requested the card. Cuz he was like “those two are a package deal.”

But also like, if you prefer to believe that Seunghyun had no contact with Jiyong and that they were completely operating as separate entities and Irko just decided to get a GD photocard because he found it funny or whatever, I guess that’s your prerogative 🤷‍♀️

That's the crux of the matter. If he didn't know T.O.P. or BB, he wouldn't have known GD either. So yes, my conclusion is that he knew GD through T.O.P.

One of the reasons I think Mr. Choi and Mr. Kwon are a couple is because what would be the reason for Mr. Kwon's actions? I think if they don't have any personal or intimate contact, this obsession with him is shocking. I mean, he's been fixated on him for a year and a half, which isn't normal.

Mr. Choi left BB more than three years ago; officially, they don't speak or have any contact. He doesn't even intend to return to BB.

If you look at this whole situation with eyes outside of a K-pop fandom and have a more open mind, understanding that relationships don't have to be heterosexual, you realize there's something between them.

Furthermore, you'd have to tell any of the people Mr. Kwon is rumored to be dating that he's cheating on them with his former bandmate, Mr. Choi. 🐰​🐉​
