So spring is here.
Bout time too.
Finally done with her chores, Ella sought out her new pet, intending to go out and get her a few things. Like food, a bed, and maybe some toys. Holding the dog in her arms, she headed to the store, only stopping when she heard someone speak. Turning to see who it was and spotting Fred, her face turned a bright red, her body frozen in place.
Anyone lose a dog?
“Shouldn’t be a problem. I trained the last pet Drizella had.”
That’s right. She’s your sister? Not much of a family resemblance.
Cinderella made a face before smiling again. "Step-sister. No blood relation."
“I would’ve said no anyway. I’d rather not have you almost die again.”
I did not almost die. I just… broke a few ribs.
"Broke a few ribs and lost a lot of blood, Jaq."
Anyone lose a dog?
“Of course! I’ve always wanted a pet.” She looked from the dog to him, still smiling. “You can come visit anytime.”
I don’t know if she’s house trained. Is that a problem?
"Shouldn't be a problem. I trained the last pet Drizella had."
“Not particularly. You?”
Any other day, I’d say let’s do something to piss off Lucifer, but I am trying to behave.
"I would've said no anyway. I'd rather not have you almost die again."

She chuckled. “I can take her if you’d like. I’d love to have a pet.” She grinned, scratching the dog’s head.
Really? You’d do that for her? That is amazing. Well, as long as I have visitation rights.
"Of course! I've always wanted a pet." She looked from the dog to him, still smiling. "You can come visit anytime."
“I am.” She hummed, glancing at the bag of marshmallows that were now half gone.
Anything else you want to do to kill time before we’re off?
"Not particularly. You?"

"You can't take her home?" Ella smiled at the dog, reaching out to pet her gently.
He spoke through the marshmallows in his mouth. “Hmmmnmmhudummm.”
She shook her head, reaching to take a drink from her glass of water. "That was fun."
"I can still feel sorry. I know what it’s like not have a mom, it’s not fun." She said softly
“I had my dad. I didn’t need anyone else.”
Ella spat out her own marshmallows before laughing. "I think you won."
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry sweetie”
“For what? She died when I was a baby.”
