Margaret Atwood, Morning in the Burned House
One day you’ll sit in the sun and things won’t feel so bad
i swear im not a music snob i dont listen to anything to be artsy im just mentally ill and like music that makes my brain feel like poprocks
what is mine will come to me in divine timing.
i attract what i desire.
sext: i want to be good for your mental health
stop asking me wyd i’m literally always thinking about love and how it touches every aspect of the human experience
Nikki Giovanni, from “Mirrors”
[Text ID: … but It Cannot Be A Mistake to have cared … It Cannot Be An Error to have tried … It Cannot Be Incorrect to have loved]
sometimes i think about how constellations are an entirely man-made construct and don’t actually exhist inherently in nature. i mean, the universe just gave us stars, and we saw art and myths and stories in them. the capacity that humans have for seeing purpose in the incidental makes me realize just how lonely we are on this planet, desperately searching for meaning elsewhere in the universe.
my head just fell off and exploded again if anyone even cares
and i almost do
