I've always said that I would've accepted gojo's death if it was done in an acceptable way. Okay, cool flashbacks, but give me a meaning to this death. What has he done? He said he'd win, and there's no way you make a character like gojo say that, and then just kill him off like that. He didn't have to actually win, but he HAD to accomplish something, and then maybe die. Maybe taking sukuna with him and then die. Maybe confronting kenjaku. Dying knowing that he did something, that he helped the others, knowing that he can rest in peace now, cause the others will handle the rest. Dying knowing that he doesn't have to be the strongest anymore. Have an actual ending to his character. Give a meaning to his character, to his loneliness, to his strength.
This all feels so wrong and rushed. It feels so incomplete. It feels like gege didn't know what to do with his character, so he threw him in the only battle that could take him off, and did it without thinking twice. Gege, next time don't write characters like gojo if you can't handle them, thank you.
