im taking a midnight run to the fridge. as i chow down on some leftovers, something in the corner of my eye earns my attention.

i like dreaming and lately ive been sleeping at 3am (its nearly 2 rn whoops) so i take some tea, have some vitamin d and b and crack open the melatonin.

“What if I take melatonin with tea?” i text my friend. “i like melatonin. dreams be trippy.”

“I- no i dont think you should.”

i do it before she says anything. my phone pings.

this is it. im going to die. with one last parting wish, i send my regards to my friend with this lovely message:
