Ruby took one step out of the booth only to follow his gaze to the priest. "Oh my God." she really had to fight the nausea that hit her like a truck. "What happened, who-" her eyes found his again and she scoffed, taking a step back but it had her pressing up against the wood. "You spoke to me." The princess shook her head and slipped past him, giving him a look over in disgrace. "I don't need your help. You're not returning me anywhere. And you're not getting any penny for anything, that I will ensure personally." The redhead clenched her jaw, taking another few steps back. "Don't you dare follow me." She said before taking a spurt to the gates of the church.
"Turns out the most holy of men are actually the most wicked. Shame really. We're supposed to trust them to be the messengers of God and all..." This guy would've been jerking it to her confession he hadn't killed him. He did her a favor as far as he was concerned. "You don't need my help? Here I was looking forward to touching you as you so desired..." When she makes a run for it, the doors are secured from the outside so she'd find it impossible to leave. Which only made his pace after her very slow. "I bet you'll change your tune now, won't you princess?"
