Okay. So, summer’s great and all for so many reasons, and I love the beach as much as the next guy. But let’s not pretend it isn’t incredibly miserable when it gets to be like 90 degrees outside. I mean, come on. I can’t stop sweating. It’s gross. This is gross. Summer is gross.

Nothing makes me happier than staying three hours later at school than planned to help get this week’s issue of the Muckraker finished, especially this late in the semester. That was sarcasm, if it didn’t come across as such; I don’t understand why there aren’t more students involved with the paper, but it’d be really nice if we got some more people on the team next year. We need all the help we can get.

Anyway, this is just me speaking into the silence. To all of you performing in the musical this weekend, best of luck to all of you —rather, break a leg! And to everyone else, I hope you’re having a more exciting week than I am. Only one week to go.

Hey, you’re doing the hard work for everyone. The Muckraker is important, spreading the good word to the people. I’ve been meaning to join but I don’t know if I have time for it right now. But then maybe that’s just an excuse for me to have more time for Netflix. I’ll never tell.

If it makes you feel any better, my week hasn’t been any more exciting than yours. Fear not, Ms. Meeks.

So, I was ordering a late night pizza, and the call picked up and I could hear the background sounds of the pizzeria, but no one said anything. So, naturally, I assumed that they were away from the phone, or something. Anyways, Spongebob was on the TV and I was quoting it under my breath like, “Ravoli, Ravoli, give me the formuioli.” And then I heard this laughter from the phone, and this guy was like “Did you just call to whisper that into the phone, or are you actually going to order something?” I have never been more embarrassed, someone save me.

That is for sure his fault for not saying anything. That’s a safe assumption that no one is on the other end of the line. Also, that’s hilarious, so I don’t know why you’re embarrassed. I’d have just laughed and moved on.
