Silent, and sneakily, a crystallized and slightly melted being crept through mossy and dusty hallways of an unknown building in the area. It was unknown how he’s got there, and frankly, it was perhaps better NOT to find out.
His origins were simply unknown, as his intentions included. It was almost like everything was entirely unknown about this stranger, like it was crystals first time even appearing in the first place. Wind silently blew through cracked windows, creating an “echoing” sound throughout the long yet thin hallways of the unnamed building.
And then, Mephiles took a rather sharp turn, which lead him into a room that looked slightly cleaner and well kept than the rest of the place. Void cautiously glanced around, high on alert and perhaps looking for some sort of live form for who knows what. Then, green catlike eyes landed on what looked to be an old, stained console. It was enough to grab at Mephiles, so the demonic hedgehog trudged along to where it sat. A table, with a slightly cracked TV hanging from the wall on a mount.
Maybe, just maybe this place had a power source. Exactly how was beyond his knowledge, though. Might as well test his luck to see what this strange box possessed. A clawed finger was placed upon the cosmetic of the console. Mephiles slid it around the front, until he felt a button, and pressed it in.
After that, he went over to the TV, and stared up at it for a few seconds. Sure, it knew how to work these things. The remote was picked up from off the floor, and the power button was pressed.
POWERING ON… PLEASE WAIT.
It was…rather quiet inside the Wii console. Not much had been happening recently, and Eteled had…too much time to think on things. He’d been looking back on past mistakes, things he could’ve done differently, how to change the present, even–though he was just feeling worse over time.
He let out a small sigh, standing up and stretching his limbs for a second before hearing…something…from outside the console. That’s…strange. It’d been a while since anyone had really approached the Wii. He tried not to think about it…maybe he was just hearing things.
Or, at least, that’s what he thought. That’s until he felt the console power on. Was…somebody using the Wii? The TV itself didn’t seem to be turned on just yet–a few seconds later, though, and the screen lit to life. The Mii Channel was empty except for Eteled standing there, staring out at this…stranger who’d turned on the console.
Whoever it was…didn’t look human. Weird…he stared in silence for a second before clearing his throat and talking in a surprisingly deep voice.
“…Who are you? And why did you turn on the Wii? You’re, uh…not like anyone else I’ve ever seen using it.”
For all Mephiles knew, this could be built into the console. How was Eteled supposed to explain to a stranger that he was sentient? …Would it even be believable? Oh whatever. If it came up in conversation, maybe he’d try to explain. He just hoped he wouldn’t have to explain everything about himself.
