Strangely enough this knowledge hit her yet despite how the purple voice tried to hurt her. The ribbon girl remained steadfast in her posture despite the words. Even with her own destructive thoughts trying their utmost to crush her a smile came through while the tears also fell from her eyes with a level of joy. Gangle nodded towards Mal with kindness.
"Well, in a way Monica was reborn wasn't she? I'm happy for her. You don't have to worry about me, I won't tell anyone. Not even if Jax hurts me I won't say anything, you have my utmost promise I will. I hope you live in all the ways Monica wasn't able to. She deserves that..."
The fact someone would trust her of all people with a secret like that. Gangle didn't know how to process it, normally no one told her anything about themselves. Because Gangle wasn't one to pry into anyone because she didn't want people to do the same with her. The fact this person was doing that when they only just met said a lot.

Gangle nods though, she found herself touching at a part of herself. Maybe, she could trust Mal too. And maybe if she had a bangle like that maybe it might be like the masks Gangle had been creating lately?

Mal couldn't help but to laugh. Not in a mocking way. Half relief, and the other, a foreign emotion neither she nor Phobia was aware of... "You're a weird one, Gangle...
